@TheAusInstitute@MattGrudnoff Houses up ~44% over 5yrs. ASX 200 up ~46% total return (dividends reinvested) over the same period. Basically identical per dollar. Comparing the $ gain on $50k of shares to a whole house isn't an asset-class point, it's a leverage point. Apples to orchards.
@hasumpstuffedup This is why fans are frustrated. This is not paid the majority of the time, so you can’t sit on the fence and say it’s not wrong. If it isn’t wrong, then you should say that every time this isn’t paid that it’s a mistake
@reidallaboutit9@CarltonFC I think under the drugs policy policy the clubs are bound by confidentiality if there is a positive test. That doesn’t confirm it’s not true, but puts some doubt in the message
@NationPadres Raleigh impacts every pitch. Catcher is the thinnest spot in MLB, and he’s giving power at the plate, elite defence, leadership, and driving Mariners wins. Judge is a monster, but the most valuable player? That’s Raleigh.
@AflGlicko Don’t necessarily disagree. Just stating there’s an argument to be had that the league is over saturated and that expansion wont help with that.
I don’t think calling it a boomer take negates any of that
@AflGlicko If the argument being made is that quality is a concern, then adding more teams further dilutes that ratio from 63k to 57k in the AFL. I don’t know what it should be other than pointing out it’s already 4x as diluted as the NFL
