Today, Christians across Syria come together to mourn the martyrs of the Mar Elias Church bombing. Many funerals are being held today to say goodbye to those who lost their lives in this tragic attack during Sunday mass .
This is Joe Akiki, a young Christian hero who lost his life in the Beirut explosion in 2020. Rescue workers recovered his body from the rubble and found a cross in his hand. Joe was praying even in his final moments.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
- Isaiah 40:31

#quote Lord, teach us to depend upon Your strength, in Jesus name. Amen✝️❤️
Job 34:17–19 (NIV)
“Can he who hates justice govern? Will you condemn the just and mighty One? Is he not the One who says to kings, ‘You are worthless,’ and to nobles, ‘You are wicked,’ who shows no partiality to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands?”
He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth; he saves them from the clutches of the powerful. So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth
God, thank You for providing me with strength in every situation. Despite my efforts, I can do nothing on my own. Sometimes I let stress get the best of me and forget that You are in control. Fill me with Your strength and guide me one day at a time through this season, Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾
Lord our God, our Father in heaven and our Father on earth, our Lord and our Ruler, we thank you that to this very day you have guarded and guided us and delivered us from great need. We praise you with hearts full of hope as we continue on our pilgrimage. For Christmas Day is coming with its message of hope that we may somehow bring honor to you in spite of all hindrances, mistakes, and sin, in spite of all death and the horror of dying. We know that you hold us in your hands. With your help we can look ahead, and again and again we may take a small step forward and live to the praise and honor of your name. So be with us now and bless us. Amen.
