@wiganrugbykings@CaljMo You know Iwans outplayed him for a few years on their own big stage? Both great players but Irwin stands above any other young half . Aussies wanted him at 17 after he tore them up on their own patch .
@wiganrugbykings@rlfansSaddened There’s more at this stage of development than winning a trophy in a successful team. Having watched the game since 77 I have only a handful of halves with Irwin’s vision at such a young age . Wire do well to keep him here for 4/ 5 years.
@SaintsNewsfeed 7 of our own academy products in the team , 2 halves 18 and 22 and more kids waiting to come in . The futures bright .. can Saints feel the same? Yep just that 👍
@Rovers18754@M_Shaw1 Shite? You can’t know the game fella, 6 academy products in there as well and 2 halves aged 18 and 22 controlled a game. Yes too soon for a GF win but the future very bright with the outstanding line of kids they have . There is another half aged 16 yet as well .
@Rod_Studd@TrylineUK I could be wrong but as I recall Warrington have not captain challenged in 2 matches now .. I’m wondering if SB has asked them not to stop momentum
@MonsieurBernie@M_Shaw1 Smith outstanding but rather look at 6 academy starting products and an 18 year old m.o.m
Wires outstanding production line from an unbeaten academy in 18 months not getting the credit they deserve.
@CameronWinkie The SL salary cap is not set up for clubs to hold a player back at the chance of the NRL . There are clubs aside Wigan heavily investing in academy, doesn’t happen overnight . Warrington loading very well .
@BenR04@Realkeithmason Incredible how Wires academy get overlooked outside of the coaching circles in RL but all of the coaches and clubs acknowledge they are a special bunch . Promoting from within and clubs taking what they can’t keep as we can’t keep them all!
