Very well done to our Year 8 students raised funds for @spinalinjuries by selling pies, cakes and refreshments at lunchtime. A total of £167.23 was raised. The students had to organise and promote the event - we think they've done a great job.
Our pupils are getting involved in #NationalNumeracyDay2026 with a Big Number Natter on 20 May and discovering how numbers shape our community. Together we’re building confidence with the numbers that matter every day.
Year 7 had a great Career WorkOut this morning. We're grateful to our Careers team and WorkTree for organising the event and to the many guests, including some St Paul's alumni, for sharing details of their working lives with our students.
Our Animal Care students had a wonderful time at their most recent visit to Woad Farm. As well as seeing and feeding some of their regular animals they also had the chance to meet some of the new babies!
The D & T Department led a trip to the Harry Potter Studios for Year 7 students. They attended a costume workshop and then saw the incredible sets and props used in the films. A great day and a tired and happy group of students at the end.
Year 13 enjoyed their 90s themed BBQ today as they started their last full week at school. It was great to see students relaxing and reminiscing about their time at the school. Thank you to the Sixth Form team for organising this special event.
During our last ITAP, trainees applied all their knowledge and skills to plan a sequence of lessons from scratch for their final project. We’re excited to be observing them teaching these creative and interactive lessons on our final visits. #TFSCITT#QTS#teachertraining#ITAP
It's been an emotional week for Yr 11. Today was their last day before study leave and public exam season starts. We hope it's been a great five years for you all and on behalf of all the staff at St Paul's we wish you the very best of luck for your GCSEs and vocational exams.
Our students Riley, Joseph and Raymond spent yesterday at Old Trafford where they collected their third place award for their short film in the Show Racism the Red Card competition. Well done to our students https://t.co/BbN5X67Oj5

Yr 7 & 8 were treated to a visit from Toscana Strings and a former Birmingham Royal Ballet soloist. The performance was Julia Donaldson and Axel Sheffler's Monkey Puzzle. Students were mesmerised as they listened to the music and watched the ballerina depict different creatures.
Thank you to everyone who attended Mass for our Year 11 leavers. The MGR was packed. We'd like to thank our Chaplaincy team for organising the Mass, the Music Department, our readers and our Year 11 servers in their new albs (white robes) bought with support from the PTA.
