Care re life after suicide.
Care re families surviving inquests &state care negligence
A big reason to 😃! My uni friends sent me a Christmas card to the ward. It may not seem like a lot to some, but this year has been beyond lonely. I’ve lost touch with people as communication in crisis/ hospital is hard.
Knowing they are still there and care means so much!

When involved in a serious/catastrastrophic patient incident @ work, the very least you can do is respect the patient & their family & tell the truth. Don't prioritise professional/organisational reputation above professional ethics and basic human decency https://t.co/5ihcwnT3s4
@angelamays27@JuliaCa20602661 Angela I think exactly this every day. The inquest was helped to a neglect verdict I believe because we had a brilliant civil liberties legal team, records and a timeline of the appalling care. When the state conducts the post A2 investigation alterations of stated facts happen.
The Duty of Candour: Something MH Trusts can wax lyrically about. Then following an unexpected preventable death, they run for the shadows, feign ignorance of the obligation incumbent on them to fully comply & arm themselves to the hilt with legal teams to further avoid doing so.
@sillyoldjen@angelamays27@JuliaLa52988125 They do . They Also Scale Down Serious Failure In Care, to Mortality Review, Then Because Of No Up To Date Policy, DownScale Yet Again To A 72 Hour Review, Then After 5 Calls To Crisis Team, Plus Actual Visit To CMHT and conclude " It Could Not Have Been Forseen
@JuliaCa20602661@angelamays27 These strangers failing their profession with their indifference to wilful neglect, protected by their masters who attempt to cover their tracks.
Worthwhile noting that as a healthcare professional it is not your decision what is and isn’t relevant to the coroner, that is for the coroner to decide. https://t.co/i1ROE35l3o
@angelamays27 'A spokesperson for the Trust said it would assist the coroner with the new inquest' = but they had a legal duty to assist the Coroner the last time, surely they must be held liable for withholding crucial evidence which caused a miscarriage of justice & TORTURE for the family?
Angela Mays is asked what has kept her going for all these years. 'Love for our daughter.' Public sector bods never seem to get the immense power of this.
'What would you like to come out of a new inquest?' The truth. And for it to never happen to anyone else. That's all we want. Catch up, eh? It really ain't difficult.
Remarkable families right enough @georgejulian - I will be hoping for the Courts to come to the correct decisions for Hayden and Sally
