“Take what you learn and make a difference with it” (Tony Robbins). Almost all our students continue studies at an advanced level after secondary school & many go on to university. We see them make a difference as they enter professions in education, medical, business & more!
Meet Dr. Adam, the head doctor at Amani Medical Center! Dr. Adam is passionate about helping people in the community and educating them on how to stay healthy. We are so thankful for the leadership that Dr. Adam provides at our medical center!
At Amani Medical Center, a big focus is making sure the children in our communities are healthy! In 2021, we had over 3,000 child health consultations!
We are grateful for our medical staff who invest their lives in providing quality medical care to children and families!
We are grateful for the teachers who invest in our students by providing them with a quality education that equips them for life! At HopeCo, we are committed to pursuing excellence so that each child can effect positive change in the world and live a life full of opportunity!
One thing I enjoy about working with @joinhopeco is sharing the needs of vulnerable children in East Africa in churches and schools in the US. It was great to be at Victory Christian Academy in Valparaiso, IN recently, and they raised more than $4,000 to help kids in Tanzania!
Breaking News: the first vulnerable girl is safe! Theresa & her two-month-old baby girl have been rescued from a horrific abusive situation & are now protected. Read more about @joinhopeco's vision for seeking justice for vulnerable girls in Kenya: https://t.co/seWAzKAnGV
One of our goals at City of Hope is to build long-term sustainability by growing food on our campus. Last year we harvested 16,667 pounds of maize and many other crops! Our students are a big help to our agricultural program!
At @joinhopeco, we are pursuing our vision of transformed lives & flourishing communities - through faith, empowerment, partnership, & leadership! Thank you to all who share our passion for bringing hope to vulnerable children & families in East Africa! https://t.co/eEmCT3wLQv
A big smile for an excellent grade on a spelling assignment! Thank you to all of our partners who support our students’ education! #CityofHope#Tanzania
Looking forward to spending this week with my team at @joinhopeco - lots of great conversations and discussions planned! (Picture taken just before I accidentally set off the burglar alarm 😳!)
Great news! We have again been awarded a Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar (now Candid). When you give to HopeCo, you can trust us to use your gift wisely and report back to you with integrity. Join us in celebrating this latest award!
Today is #InternationalWomensDay2022. Many African girls face cultural stigmas against education or are forced to marry before finishing school. We boost girls’ literacy, graduation rates, and college attendance and empower them through leadership training and business skills!
I appreciate the fantastic partnership that @joinhopeco enjoys with @norotonchurch - had a great conversation this evening with their missions committee about our work with vulnerable kids in Tanzania and Kenya!
Great news! Exam results for students at our secondary school are in, and they did well! We had 27 graduates & ALL attained top scores. Our school ranked 2nd out of 15 schools in the region & 32 out of 854 in Tanzania. This puts us in the top 4% nationwide – celebrate with us!
Today marks the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation. @HopeCo continues its efforts to see FGM eradicated in the communities that we serve in East Africa: https://t.co/TEiEnF9l3W
