We are saddened by the passing of state Rep. Bill Beck, a member of the Tennessee General Assembly for nearly a decade. We remember and honor him as a dedicated public servant, and we offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

The latest TN 3rd grade reading scores have been released. While we celebrate the historic gains, 60% of 3rd graders still are not reading at grade level. More investments must be made to create a stronger early learning foundation.
