I used to steal my brother’s perfumes every morning before going to school back in secondary school.
The way girls used to trip because of that made me know the importance of smelling good since then 😂
i was a virgin until 23, started dating stephanie since 21, she didn't pressure me, told me to take my time, loved, cared and still spent on me... after my 23rd birthday, we had a big fight and separated.
i thought that was the end. out of anger i lost my virginity to a random girl and just 2 days after, stephanie reached out to me. she wanted us back together.
i felt horrible cos i was no longer a virgin, i told her instantly because i was scared and didn't want to lead her on. but she was sad, angry and she went quiet.
that was the last time i heard from her.
i thought she loved me for who i am but sadly she was only after my body like every other girl.
he’s always on about “ifs”, self-to-public contradiction.
kawai manzon Allah SAW yace ko bai ce ba? what’s so perplexing ab it? qur’an has vividly outlined this thing.
This is the complete bayani da prof yayi. Duk mai son gaskiya zai fahimce mai prof yake kokarin yi.
Da Qaramin iliminku kun dauka prof duk bai San wannan karatun bane.
@Taabreez The trending DOAC video podcast about a man who lost his entire fortune and the partner who stood by him in defeat is a meaningful addition to your beautiful write-up. Writing about men's vulnerabilities is as difficult as experiencing or expressing them. Jazakallahu khayran.
I often said this about Nigerians obsessed with riches. Beyond their obvious financial illiteracy, Nigerians aspire for the Adelekes' and Otedolas' type of wealth because they're living in pain and desperation. Such types of aspirations couldn't be common in Argentina or Estonia.
This is what Nigerians across all levels don’t understand. We are not all going to get rich, the chance is even slighter in this climate. But we all deserve a decent life, and for that, we must have functioning systems & institutions.
You don’t solve poverty by teaching everyone to become millionaires. You solve poverty by building an economy where ordinary work can produce a decent life.
I specifically went to look for the hadith about stoning to death for adultery after reading the replies. This hadith was the first in the list of hadiths.
Subhanallah. Umar bin Khattab (RA) once again predicts as if he is alive.
May Allah increase me and you in beneficial knowledge, and keep us guides whom are guided.
This is in part why on my path of Islamic knowledge, eschatology is my primary focus.
Through eschatology you can very easily trace the gap between where the founders of Islam started with, and where we are down the pole.
When religious knowledge disappears, it is said that the ones with any iota of iman would say the people in the past used to say "la'ilaha".
The degradation of knowledge is directly correlated with the loss of iman in society, and the rise of evil, corruption, and treachery.
That's why the last people before the Day of Judgement will be the most evil because Islamic knowledge has completely been wiped, and the Kaaba raised back to heaven.
Just look at this.
Umar (RA) said that time may lapse, people may forget it, and claim "we do not find the punishment of stoning in the Book of Allah". Thus go astray.
That astray part is what manifests in evil, corruption, and a morally corrupt society.
May Allah protect me and you from the consequences of our sins.
