@justaminitt@David90shaw Absolutely spot on with your description. We have a very poor council tax intake due to the amount of people in our area on tax credits so we have to make up the shortfall! £3.3k this financial year and the whole town is a sh*thole with shops closing by the day
@David90shaw I’d take a property tax of 0.48%! I live in a house in the North East, worth approx £300k and I pay over £3.2k every year for the privilege! We are in one of the poorest area in the country yet have one of the highest council tax bands!
@AndyBurnhamGM if you are to be successful you need to make this your priority! 1900 in one week and with the warmer weather upon us, this will become a weekly occurrence
@10DowningStreet The victim never leaves if it’s their name on the tenancy (or mortgage) as bail conditions or DAPOs are put in place preventing the offender from returning to the family home. This is a nonsense announcement made to look like it’s something new
@joshsimonsmp@AndyBurnhamGM Can you categorically confirm, right now on here, that you won’t be given a life peerage in the Lords for ‘stepping aside’ so the ‘King of the North 🙄’ can rebuild these broken systems? Was it a ‘you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours’ type of underhand deal?
@lukejcr It’s a bit like the misogyny shown by Labour MPs erasing ‘women’ by claiming we can have a penis. The majority are now backtracking after realising their ridiculous claims were losing votes!
@CarmelOHagan1@hol40900@EALDominicB Would you have preferred the police to have tickled him until he released his grip of the knife? Their hands were on their tasers so what else should they have used? Maybe their feet…..
@adje__ Are you for real? They are holding tasers so didn’t have a free hand to tickle him in to dropping the knife he’d just stabbed two people with. A few kicks to the head to get him to disarm is too lenient, it should have been a round of bullets to his head and chest
I enjoyed her cancelling me for bringing up Tice’s tax affairs after answering her questions directly.
The best thing was her defence of Tice and insistence that she was a journalist.
What a snowflake! ❄️ What a carcrash interviewer, just letting good GB News viewers down 🤯
@BethRigby I honestly cannot believe you are accepting this as the truth! Are you saying the Foreign Office deliberately kept that information from both the Foreign Secretary (Lammy) and the PM?? Starmer throws everyone under the bus - is this another thing that ‘didn’t pass his desk’?!
@ripx4nutmeg@Fox_Claire How can KS and the Labour Party stand on a mantra that their number one focus is VAWG yet appear to be anti women when it comes to these challenges. They can’t have it both ways…..
@BethRigby Jeez, this was more pathetic than the interview you did with Angela Rayner when she got caught out! He’s only beating himself up because he got rumbled! Would you have given the softly softly approach if it was a Tory you were interviewing? I think not!
@NatalieFleetMP@DavidLammy You are just spouting emotive language and piggybacking on VAWG! You are well aware that a huge number of cases in our criminal courts which have nothing to do with VAWG. I predict a huge number of miscarriage of justice cases creating a massive backlog in the coming years
@NatalieFleetMP@DavidLammy Whilst complainants need to be at the forefront of any criminal proceedings let’s not forget the defendants in all of this. You seem to forget that people who have been accused of an offence are actually found not guilty of whatever they’re alleged to have committed!
