#uncommonsweekly update: Parliament is back in session and it’s nuclear winter vs the carbon rebate, Poilievre vs Singh, and election speculation vs reality. Hard to believe it’s only been one week.
Bloomberg -August 7, 2024 "Trudeau & his Liberal Party, for the first time in Canada’s history ushered in the No. 1 economy among the Group of Seven developed nations over the past eight years (excluding the US), according to data compiled by Bloomberg."

Here’s what I shared with caucus this summer as we look to this session:
Everything depends on competence in governing, we need to draw a sharp contrast with Poilievre's reform party politics, and the Prime Minister should tell Canadians what his priorities are for a final term.
A stupid 3 word slogan from a 20 year unaccomplished politician. Catchy phrases that mean nothing because nobody knows what the hell he’s talking about, as usual. Useless words that do nothing for Canada. Bring what home, Poilievre? How and for who? A useless power hungry idiot.
Has Pete Buttigieg, a potential VP for Harris, met Pierre Poilievre? Sounds like he knows him based on his recent quote:
"The politics of outrage and insult are the last refuge of a politician who cannot defend his own plans."
Nailed him.
