@wasUESH@PreeceOwen However, we will both be in Krakow when the game is on - so he will be outnumbered by Y Cymry (and the lovely people of Krakow) who may not all be as understanding as I have to be 🫣😂
@wasUESH@PreeceOwen A bit more difficult for me as I have an English husband (who fully supports Wrexham and wants to move to Wales in the future btw) so I’m staying fully neutral on that one! But any international tournament should be about bringing different nations together, not causing rifts.
@wasUESH@PreeceOwen Also, plenty of other teams do not get their banned player reinstated, they just get on with playing the game without them. Surely it’s worse to pull strings to get the ban overturned? And legally, in England & Wales anyway, other interested parties can be involved in litigation.
@wasUESH@PreeceOwen Belgium did not appeal however, they asked for clarification from FIFA which FIFA turned into an appeal, presumably so they could avoid providing the requested clarification (as they knew this would be controversial). FIFA created a precedent by wrongly suspending Ronaldo’s ban.
@wasUESH@PreeceOwen There is a difference between a legitimate query (as it has never before happened that a banned player then went on to play in a World Cup game) and ‘crying’. As Owen said, the rest of the world was with Belgium and had it been Wales, I hope the FAW would have done the same.
Happy Birthday!
150 years ago, to this very day, the Football Association of Wales was created at the Wynnstay Arms Hotel in Wrexham.

@78Spirit Lucky to get 2 out of 7 ballots so far (West Brom & Derby), and got 2 more games (QPR & Coventry) via the exchange, but this requires a lot of time and miss out sometimes as I cannot spend hours searching in the run up to a game when I have to work.
My open letter to @RachelReevesMP (cc @Ofcom, @SciTechgovuk)
Now O2 has broken the taboo, the big risk is other firms will likely follow suit... the govt must step in to stop mobile, broadband and pay-TV firms increasing prices mid contract by MORE than they said they would when people sign up.
@fearlessidzine Right now it feels like tonight was sacrificed for the game on Friday, but I would rather have lost 4 or 5 nil on Friday and won tonight. I’m not convinced Parky understood how much that meant. The starting 11 definitely did not give that impression anyway. Too many changes.
