"Is this a bug or a feature?"
ZUN : Lol, I don't know!
"Was there extra detail on the art?
ZUN : Lol, I don't know!
"How did you make the enemy marker?
ZUN : Lol, I don't know!
ZUN : What were the notes for this song again?
ZUN : Lol, I don't know!
"no good game since touhou 15" is quite possibly the most tourist larp take every, what really happened is that people got tired of ZUN making new touhous and not bringing back anyone and mad because of the lore "not being expanded" as if there aren't tons of source material.
Fun fact : It's well known by now that the stripes on Patchouli's EoSD portrait are actually shadows cast by the 2 ribbons on her pajama, but according to those who attended the Great Touhou Exhibition, her sheet shows that the 2 ribbons is actually 1 ribbon that loops around.
@_AuroraArtz_ Both are good, they just have different design philosophy. Modern Touhou character would not fit the frilly dresses that defined the classic era, just like how older character wouldn’t fit the eccentric outfit style of newer character that made extensive use of symbolism
Imma be honest; ZUN early windows era designs were above mid at best (no shade). People like them mostly because of nostalgia.
Nowadays he doesn't render the same anymore sure, but he still made the most memorable designs in a while.
