@olaoluwajedalo@Dontee___ Well, I don't blame the mumu man that is making this comment. Olofo ni eyin mejeeji. Funny how the coward blocked me so I don't reply him.
How on earth? No make it make sense. How will you want to Govern over people and you can't speak their native dialect but you can speak the native dialect of others. Nd some naive individuals are supporting the motion!!! ๐คง Oshisco plc...
Itโs impossible for anyone in the core North to win an election without being fluent in Hausa.
If you like, speak English better than Lord Lugard, but if you canโt address the public eloquently in Hausa, thatโs a red flag.
@iamoxytoxin The question i asked wasn't APC or PDP or whatever party. It was a very simple and neutral question. So because I belong to a party I can't ask questions?
Communication is key!!! How do you communicate with your people when you can't speak their language. I've seen several videos of past Governors including Fashola speaking Yoruba to their people. Is it Commissioner for Language nd linguistics that'll do the talking for GRV? SMH๐คง
Parents should be deliberate about teaching their children their native language. It is not a flex to raise children who cannot speak or understand the language of their own people.
Some parents even go as far as saying, โDonโt speak vernacular to my children.โ Native language ni vernacular abi? Okay nah.
Teaching your child their mother tongue does not make them less educated, less exposed or less sophisticated. If anything, it gives them a stronger connection to who they are and where they come from.
And this is not even just about seeking political office. It is bigger than that. It is about preserving our identity and ensuring that the language our parents handed down to us does not end with our generation.

Language is important, It carries the culture and heritage of Our People, but Let's focus on the problems and solutions for Lagos.
Our business here is governance. @GRVlagos@BOGbadams#OurLagos#MakeรkรณGreatAgain
@Akinrinmade_14 Take for example, there's Crisis in Balogun market and then there's an uproar when you arrive there as the sitting Governor. So tell me those marketwomen would you be speaking Queen's English with them? Or you'll speak their native dialect to calm them down???
GRV no hard feelings but, respectfully before you can Govern a Yoruba State you need to understand and speak our language. I asked you a question in Yoruba but you couldn't reply me in Yoruba. You were speaking gibberish...
