Imagine writing something as ridiculous as "I write because the dead can read" as a statement to accept the #GillerPrize when Palestinian poets like Refaat Alareer are dead. This is a real "fuck your lecture on craft, my people are dying" (Noor Hindi) moment, Anne Michaels.
I have written to the @gillerprize to request that my name, image and work be removed entirely from the their website and all related material and videos. My work will no longer be submitted. I thank them in advance for respecting my wishes.

@AirCanada I have waited for a refund since august 2022 for a flight that I didn’t take. I have called customer service 5 times since then and each time have been told that I will receive the money as soon as possible. What is going on?
