Given the ridiculous volume of Prime Ministers that Britain’s endured in recent years, I think it should now be law that if a PM quits or is forced out during his/her term, it automatically triggers a new general election. That might concentrate their minds to do a better job.

🗣��� "Having taken place in the second week of September for the first four years, it was decided that moving the date of National Racehorse Week to the end of the school holidays might give it a fresh look.
"Research in other sports has proved that it is between the ages of eight and 15 that you develop your passions in life. The more young people we can introduce to the horse and the sport at this age, the stronger our industry will be."

The Racing Foundation and the John Pearce Foundation have together granted over £300,000 to @RoRlatest to improve the framework to support horses' first step out of training. Working in partnership with @HEROSCharity, this one-year grant will allow them to continue their work to develop structured pathways for former racehorses as they transition into second careers.
The grant includes funding for several initiatives including:
-The creation of a Retrainer Approval Scheme
-The development of a formal assessment process for horses leaving training
-The continuation of the Retraining Assessment Programme (RAP) in collaboration with HEROS Charity
-The employment of a welfare support officer, part funded with the Horse Racing Levy Board.
