I’ve been building Jollof Approved because I know how difficult it can be to find good Jollof when you’re somewhere new.

So I built a place for it.

Jollof Approved is a global platform for finding Jollof. You can search your city or country, or simply open the site and see Jollof spots near you.

There are already 1,900+ listings from around the world, including restaurants, caterers, private chefs, home kitchens, food trucks and pop-ups.

But the other reason I built it is for the people making the food.

There are so many people who can make incredible Jollof but don’t necessarily have a website, a large following, or the time and technical knowledge to market themselves. I want Jollof Approved to give those businesses somewhere people can find them.

Listings are free to submit, so if you know a Jollof spot that isn’t on there yet, you can send it in too.

I’m still building the platform, so there are things I’m working on and things I know I can make better. But I’ve realised that Jollof Approved will probably never be “finished.” There will always be another city to add, another business to find, and another thing to improve.

So I’m putting it out there now.
