Ethiopia: How is it possible that evil men could methodically torch a church in broad daylight?
That is exactly what happened in the Oromo region.
Crowds cheered. Some prepped the blaze. Others relayed fuel.
This is a public terror campaign targeting Ethiopia’s Christians.
My friend Da Yu left communist China for the USA twenty years ago. Last week, his American employer gave him one hour to delete his comment on a friend’s social media post or lose his job.
Da was an atheist when he first moved to Cincinnati for college. And he was excited to get away from the suffocating regime of communist China.
When he arrived here, it wasn’t long before he encountered a group of Christians who shared the gospel with him. God opened his heart to the truth of the gospel and he believed.
As his faith grew, Da became a strong Christian leader and committed evangelist. Now, many years later, he leads a small group at my church and organizes regular evangelistic outreaches for college students.
Da is a kind, smart, and godly Christian man. And he’s among the most committed members of our church. He’s an ordinary Christian who believes the Bible and has a spine. He and his wife have two young children, and she is eight months pregnant with their third.
That’s all background for what I’m about to say.
Last week, he called me out of the blue because he was faced with a difficult decision. One of his friends had just become a Christian and posted on LinkedIn about her baptism (see screenshots).
She wasn’t accustomed to making Linked In posts about Jesus, feeling as though it might be unprofessional. She wondered openly if she should keep her posts secular. But she was excited about her new life in Christ and wanted to share it.
That’s when Da chimed in with a comment on her post that there is no such thing as a purely neutral, “secular” culture. He pointed out that many companies are promoting cultural sins such as homosexuality, transgenderism, and fornication during pride month. If companies can promote those morally regressive “values,” then certainly this woman should not be embarrassed to talk about her Christian faith in public. He was simply encouraging her to be bold for Christ.
WIthin minutes, he got a message from HR. He was called to a meeting with the HR rep and the CEO where he was told he needed to take his comment on her post down immediately. Feeling put on the spot, he said he’d needed to think it over first. He asked, “what if I do not take it down?”
They said, “you have one hour to take it down or lose your job.” So he took a walk outside to gather his thoughts and pray. He spoke to his wife about it, and she told him the man she married was a man of courage, and she would stand by him. He also sought counsel from some men in our church.
Finally, he made his decision. He would not take his comment down. So they fired him. Right there, on the spot. No sooner had the call ended that his laptop was locked and he was unable to access it at all.
This whole episode is tragically ironic, given the fact that he’d moved here from China to get away from these sorts of draconian practices. But that’s the way it is with the LGBTQ regime. If you do not comply and bow the knee to their gods you will be severely punished.
In short, a good man was fired from his job for refusing to cave. He took a stand and paid a price for it. His former employers didn’t care that he’s a responsible, hard working man with a family to provide for. They didn’t care that his wife is eight months pregnant.
None of that matters. Their ideology is everything. They will crush anyone who opposes it.
I asked Da’s permission to tell his story, promising to keep him anonymous. But he responded, “Actually I think using my real name maybe better. A story becomes a lot more real with a name. I want to take a stand for it and encourage others.”
Da took a stand. You can too.
Ethiopia: The 101-year-old Telata Chef St. Garbriel Church has been burned to the ground by ethnic militants in Oromo.
Dozens of Christians were also killed.
Hundreds of Christian homes were destroyed, along with livestock, in the large-scale attack that saw roughly 3,000 armed extremists target the Orthodox Christian community.
The Christians of Ethiopia’s Oromo region need immediate help and prayers.
Ethiopia: Dozens of Christians were slaughtered in recent days by ethnic militants in the Oromo region.
The Ethiopian Orthodox Christian community was intentionally targeted.
This evil must be stopped and those responsible brought to justice.
Pray for the afflicted.
In Tripoli, Libya:
Christians are being arrested and tortured, branded as “the impure,” “cross-worshippers,” and “Jews.”
Most of those seized are of Ethiopian and Eritrean nationality, along with some Copts, and it is being carried out by the Muslim Brotherhood militias allied with Turkey.
Some are imprisoned, tortured, and pressured to convert to Islam; some are deported.
The Muslim Brotherhood’s agents go through the markets telling people: “Do not employ an impure Christian!”
This is Islam as history has known it, revived by the Muslim Brotherhood in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
@realDonaldTrump just said: "They're starting to give us the things that they have to give us — and if they do, that's great, and if they won't, then the man on my left is going to finish them off."
Iranians do not want a deal. Finish the Islamic Republic off.
With our internet partially restored (home WiFi is back, cell data still blocked), the Persian timeline has exploded — and millions of voices inside Iran are now saying out loud exactly what people like me were screaming into the void during the blackout: No deals with the Islamic Republic. None. Ever.
The 1979 revolution triggered a huge migration wave, yes. But the biggest exoduses from Iran after that, have never happened during wars or crackdowns. They’ve happened right after the regime signed deals with the United States.
In 2009 the Green Movement shook the regime to its core. It was crushed. Then the Obama administration gave the Islamic Republic its biggest legitimacy boost in decades with the JCPOA. Iranians watched their hope for real change die on live television and voted with their feet — the largest migration wave since 1979.
In 2022-2023 the Mahsa Amini uprising (Women, Life, Freedom) did the same. Achievements, then brutal suppression. Then the Biden administration rushed into new deals and sanctions relief. Result? Another record migration — especially to Canada, Sweden, and the United States. People saw the regime was going to survive and thrive again, so they left.
Contrast that with actual war.
The 12-day war with Israel? No major migration wave.
The 40-day war with the U.S.-Israel coalition? Unprecedented lack of migration. A country at war for over a month, yet Iranians stayed put. Because for once they saw the regime under real pressure — not being handed another lifeline.
Mark my words: the moment a new treaty is signed and the Islamic Republic is officially legitimized again, the next migration tsunami will begin. The regime, freshly empowered and emboldened, will oppress, murder and rape with renewed fury — and the people who still dared to hope will finally pack their bags.
We don’t want any deals with the Islamic Republic.
We want the regime gone.
The Iranian people have spoken — loud and clear, now that the internet is back on.
Listen to us this time.

Some of you might have noticed that there have been repeated attempts to create a "two-state solution" in Eretz Israel (or "Palestine" if you want) and that it never works. The primary reason it never works is that the "Palestinian" side of it and its terror groups reject it.
The reason they reject it can be found in the 1988 Hamas Charter explicitly, which declares that they recognize the entire region as having been set aside as Islamic Waqf since the seventh century. This is a doctrine within Islam and Sharia and, as you should expect, the Muslim Brotherhood and its derivatives take it extremely strictly and literally.
The doctrine of waqf is probably 98% of the reason why the Middle East is the way that it is with regard to the (modern) state of Israel, but almost nobody ever actually seems to recognize this.
The doctrine of Waqf is roughly an Islamic land trust, although the "owner" of that land is taken literally to be Allah once it has been declared waqf. Since Allah "owns" it, it is fully "Dar al-Islam" (land of Islam) in a fully irrevocable, permanent, and inalienable way. No one can have any ownership of the land, but certain Muslims in good standing can hold stewardship of it. No one else can. It cannot be sold. It cannot be traded. It doesn't matter if it is conquered by a thousand armies. The land is viewed under Sharia as inalienably Islamic and belonging to Allah.
The doctrine sees land under waqf as having been subdued or purified under Islamic doctrine. The land has been returned to its pristine state, in some sense. It is therefore regarded as an unholy defilement for anyone to make any claim upon the land, no matter how legitimate, old, or under any circumstances. To sell the land as a Muslim steward, especially to a Jew, is to incur a fatwa against you and your family (a capital offense). To occupy the land is the same.
People who believe this in the way the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah, Al Qaeda, ISIS, ISIL, etc., believe it, believe these things literally. They believe they have a holy obligation to murder anyone involved in what they see as a desecration of Allah's pristine Dar al-Islam land, and they act upon it. There is no possibility of compromise, partition, sharing, or any other such thing with people who believe this doctrine in this way. None. Ever. Under any circumstances.
Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, etc., believe that in the late 7th century when the Muslim Caliph conquered all of Syria-Palaestina ("Palestine") and declared it waqf (specifically in part so Jews could never return), that was final and irrevocable. The case is closed. There can never be so much as a serious discussion of any change.
Therefore, when the Allies, particularly British and French forces, conquered the Ottomans in 1917 and issued the Balfour Declaration, effectively taking control of the land as conquered territory under their management ("British Mandate Palestine" and "French Mandate Syria"), they had absolutely no legal standing to do so under Sharia, from the Islamist perspective. They could conquer people but not Allah or his irrevocable claim on the land.
When the League of Nations ratified the Mandates in the following years, the same. When the United Nations attempted to issue a partition in 1947, the same. When Israel declared independence in 1948, the same. When the Arab armies attacked and lost the next day, this did nothing to strengthen their case for legal occupation of the land. When a million attempted partition and two-state solutions were proposed only to be rejected by the Arab Palestinians every time, this is ultimately why. Almost all the rest is window dressing and taqiyyah. The issue is seeing the land as Islamic Waqf under Sharia, to which the Muslim Islamists have submitted.
The Muslim Brotherhood (thus Hamas, etc.) doctrine on submission is that you fully accept all of this as I have stated it or you are not a real Muslim at all. You are apostate, and your life is in danger, if not forfeit, unless you will change your ways, perhaps under duress. Do you understand? Either you think this way, or the MB and its affiliate terror organizations do not recognize you as a Muslim to begin with, so your opinion is as irrelevant and moot as a Westerner, a Christian, an infidel, or a Jew.
If you are taking the "Palestinian" side in these conflicts or see Israel as intrinsically the aggressor, provocateur, problem, etc., in the region, you are implicitly endorsing the Sharia and the doctrine of waqf that is the overwhelming primary reason for those beliefs. Full stop. You're supporting a view only intelligible under Sharia. Waqf, the idea of Allah owning land in religious trust, is a uniquely Sharia doctrine. It does not exist anywhere else.
Israel obtained nearly all the land in Eretz Israel legally. The Allied Forces (that's us, fam) beat the Central Powers in WWI, including the Ottoman Empire, and took the entire region from them. All international law recognized it, including the League of Nations and later United Nations, and no serious challenge to that legal reality was ever made. Zionists bought land there, often from Ottoman landlords, and slowly moved in. Almost all immigration was legal with the only illegal immigration being during WWII when the British limited legal immigration in order to appease the Mufti. When Britain withdrew in 1947, the United Nations suggested the partition, and only the Arabs rejected it. Under every system of law that might apply except Sharia, the people we recognize as Israelis today moved in legally. It was not "settler occupation" except under Sharia.
We are not under any obligation to recognize Sharia, or, therefore, waqf. We do not need to care what they believe about ownership of that land under their religious-political doctrine, especially since they try to hide the ball behind displacement, Arab nationalism, and some claimed right to self-determination (which they lost in wars that they always started, with the exception of WWI, which the Central Powers including the Ottomans started).
The fig leaf they hide waqf behind here is this claim to self-determining pan-Arab nationalism, but what it actually means to have self-determination is to be able to determine the land is irrevocably theirs under Sharia because of waqf.
If you don't recognize Sharia as legitimately binding international law, then you don't recognize the "Palestinian's" claim on the land of Eretz Israel, including Judea or Samaria (the "West Bank"), or Gaza for that matter (which was held by the Egyptians).
Thank you for your attention to this matter!
As an Iranian reporting from inside the country via Starlink in the blackout:
Clear signs are mounting — US forces positioning, rhetoric sharpening, naval assets tightening the blockade. It looks like the second round of strikes is coming, and most Iranians I know are breathing a quiet mix of tension and relief.
This regime has pushed us to the edge for 47 years. They’ve strangled our economy, spilled our oil into the dirt like sewage because no one will buy from them, executed our youth, raped dissidents in jail, and turned our proud nation into a prison for 90 million people. Their so-called “resistance” is just a collapsing mafia in turbans watching their black gold poison our soil while they pretend victory on state TV.
We don’t want our cities turned to rubble, but we also know the price of letting these butchers survive is far higher. Every peaceful path we tried — protests, reform, dialogue — ended in bullets and nooses. The fire of the Lion and Sun revolution is still burning. We’re ready.
Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi is the unifying bridge we need for a stable transition — the only figure with the legitimacy, international credibility, and overwhelming support from Iranians inside and in the diaspora to prevent chaos and let the people freely choose their future system, whether constitutional monarchy or republic.
President Trump, Netanyahu, and the free world: keep the pressure unrelenting. Hit the IRGC hard where it counts, maintain the blockade, and give the Iranian people just enough breathing room. We will finish the job ourselves when the playing field is even. The regime is isolated, broke, desperate, and rotting from within. Their own panic on TV proves it.
This is our moment. History is accelerating.
The Lion and Sun is rising again.

Breaking: The ongoing Islamic persecution of Christians in Nigeria continues with another horrific attack in the past few hours. Christians were beheaded by Muslim terrorists chanting “Allahu Akbar.” Their only crime was believing in God instead of Allah.
No one in the West seems to care: not politicians chasing Muslim votes, not the media obsessing over every other cause, and not even many Christian leaders in Western countries who remain silent.
The world turns a blind eye because the victims are Christians. Their lives apparently mean nothing to globalist elites and the virtue-signaling crowd.
Please keep them in your prayers. 🙏💔
Bro, I’m reading this book right now about the persecuted church, the martyrs, the families losing everything for Jesus, and I’m just sitting here like, dang, Lord, I actually repent for how disconnected I’ve been from the suffering of our global family.
These believers are getting burned out of their homes, jailed, and killed while we’re over here arguing about sound bites and bad Instagram theology.
I’m scrolling my phone while somebody in Iran is whispering worship so they don’t get caught while their pastor is being executed in front of them.
And it hit me hard because I think I treated persecution like it was some distant story. Inspiring, emotional, but not real.
But these stories are real. This is the backbone of our faith.
And honestly, shoutout to Kiki because she told me to read this book. I thought it was going to be intense but manageable. Instead, it felt like God cracked my chest open and poured His heart into me.
I realized I’ve been praying for revival without realizing revival is already happening. It’s just happening in underground churches, prison cells, hidden homes, and persecuted nations outside my comfortable time zone.
I’ve treated freedom like a right while believers across the world treat Jesus like a treasure worth dying for.
And that changes you.
Because somewhere today, somebody whispered the name of Jesus knowing it might cost them their life.
That is humbling.
I’m a “Ben Shapiro conservative.” I accept that I’m part of a dying generation of conservatives, and I lament it because I know what’s rising in its stead.
It’s a radical and revolutionary reactionary force that you helped create through years of demonizing and dispossessing white men. From making them scared and desperate. From trying—and often succeeding—in destroying the most milquetoast of conservatives for daring to question your Woke orthodoxy.
I was one of those casualties. It cost me everything as a teacher and I’m still a pariah amongst the Leftist ideologues that run our schools—unemployable in public education.
I have every reason to hate people like you—and perhaps if I possessed a different temperament I’d be part of the new revolutionary Right.
But I’m not, because I know that the polemic wars of the far Left against the new far Right will do to this country that I love.
And I should warn you against reveling in Ben’s diminishing audience, because what is replacing it frightens me, and it should utterly terrify you.
You’re going to reap what you sowed, and one day, you’ll pray for the return of conservatives like Ben,
She is correct. We should all mark Nakba Day, since by “Nakba” (“catastrophe”), they mean that time when they tried—but catastrophically failed—to wipe out one million Jews.
When they talk about a “continuing Nakba” or a “second Nakba,” they mean their continuing and subsequent catastrophic failures to genocide Jews.
The more you Nakba around, the more you Nakba out.
BREAKING: Islamists stormed a Christian village in Nigeria and committed the most horrific crimes imaginable.
They captured pregnant women, hacked their stomaches open, and forced them to witness their own unborn babies die in front of them.
India: Three Baptist pastors were ambushed and assassinated yesterday in Manipur by unknown assailants.
Rev. Vumthang Sitlhou, Rev. Kaigoulun Lhouvum and Pastor Paogoulen Sitlhou were returning home after a Baptist assembly on May 12 when the evil unfolded.
Five other religious workers were also injured.
The Christian Emergency Alliance condemns this atrocious crime – those responsible must be brought to justice.
Pray that the injured would be healed and the families of the deceased comforted by the Spirit.
May our loving Father draw goodness out of this dark act.
Pray for the Christians of Manipur.
I used to believe that Kristoff was a responsible reporter, coming from the left of course. But I still thought he had basic journalistic integrity. That belief has been taking on water for a while now, and this basically finishes it off.
For those keeping track, Kristoff's piece:
- Was published to pre-empt a detailed report about sexual violence by Hamas, full of actual evidence.
- One of his main quoted Israeli sources says Kristoff misrepresented his take.
- The article omits context about the background of its sources.
- Several of his cited victims have a clear record of significantly changing their story. Kristoff omits any explanation for these changes.
- The main source of the most significant abuse claim is a terrorist-tied org that has pushed constant insane conspiracies. A group that denies extensive evidence of widespread sexual violence by Hamas and had an interest in pre-empting the report mentioned in the first point.
- The article promotes a central claim from that group about dogs being trained to rape people, which is biologically unlikely and has almost no supporting evidence. Kristoff has since misled followers about the medical evidence to support the possibility. Another primary linked source for the claim is an online grifter known for making stuff up, sexually harassing women, and sending inappropriate photos to minors, while having no firsthand knowledge to support the claim.
The NYT fired several people for publishing a Tom Cotton op-ed with a very mainstream view about preventing mob violence, but Kistoff knows there will be zero consequences for any of the above because the NYT consistently adopts the view that journalistic standards don't apply when publishing anti-Israel content.
If you want to know why all the deeply silly “dog rape” stories were published this week, it’s because the paid pro-Palestinian influencer squad were ordered to get ahead of this, genuine horror story.
Remember Asia Bibi, a Pakistani Christian woman who spent 8 years on death row after being accused of “blasphemy” for drinking water from a Muslim’s cup.
Asia was working in the fields with her Muslim coworkers. She got thirsty and went to fetch water from the well, where she took a drink with an old metal cup she had found. That’s all it took.
Christians are considered dirty and impure in Islam, and she was accused of attempting to contaminate the Muslims’ water just by drinking from their cup. She was sentenced to death by hanging.
The governor of her province voiced opposition to the verdict and was assassinated by his own bodyguard.
When she was finally acquitted in 2018 due to international pressure, tens of thousands of Muslims rioted, demanding her immediate execution.
A local poll found that 10 MILLION Pakistanis would personally kill her if given the chance. Just for drinking water from a Muslim’s cup.
Her lawyer had to flee the country. And after months in hiding, she was finally able to escape Pakistan and received asylum in Canada.
This is Pakistan, where non-Muslims live under the constant threat of death. The more I learn about this country, the more it just feels like ISIS with a formal government.
