Rewind to 2023/24. Since the league was formed, Cardiff City were dominating the Adran U19s scene, as you would expect for a club of that magnitude. However, Barry would be the team to change the script.

An incredible campaign in a team full of talented players saw The Young Linnets top the South table, beating City by two points. A 4-0 win over Connah's Quay Nomads would follow to see Barry Town United U19s lift the national title.

Aimee Deacon and Sienna Stone were involved in that team, already mentioned in this list, but in truth every player from that side could have a spot on this. However, there was a hero in that national final.

Megan-Ruby Clarke scored a hattrick at Latham Park to help Barry on their way to silverware, in an incredible campaign for the winger. 27 goal contributions in 20 games, the hattrick rounded off an incredible campaign for both Barry and Clarke.

A player with so much confidence, skill, pace and capable of big moments. After starting her career at Bryntirion Athletic before her Barry spell, the rising star earned a move to Swansea City in summer 2024, and has continued her form in their U19s.

She's also been involved in the first team setup under Yzzy Taylor, with three senior appearances to her name at the Swans. Whilst she's another player who hasn't quite fully established herself in senior football, she's only getting better and better.
