I found a lifeless, pale dragonfly in the pool. I fished him out and put him in the sun. After a few minutes his legs twitched, and he started pumping blood into his abdomen. I put him on a twig, then onto a palm branch. An hour later he flew away. 🤗

@paulhayes55 Great pic Paul. Love hoopoes. Occasionally you get one that isn't bothered by humans at all, and then you get those that are really flighty. This one looks like the former.
