Russia is considering lowering the country’s working age to 12 and reopening Soviet summer labor camps to replace workers lost to the war in Ukraine.
Moscow’s child labor commissioner argued that “the return of labour camps is a realistic scenario that our children will support”
@R_P_one@heatloss1986 Can’t remember the name but there was a flight sim circa 1994 that let you fly Eurofighter among other aircraft. What made it hard wasn’t operating the aircraft or even navigating & finding the target, but getting put on war crimes trial if you missed or damaged anything else

Prices for Russian 6000 and 5500 kcal coal on the Asian market have reached records highs since 2024 due to external events in Indonesia, China and the Middle east. But Russian coal remains deeply unprofitable as some logistics costs have more than doubled since March.
Russian blogger Svyatoslav Golikov (Philologist in Ambush) fears that after their success in throttling Russian logistics on the route to Crimea, Ukrainian UAVs will target the vital M4 highway linking Moscow itself to Rostov-on-Don, the main Russian transport artery in the war.
