@newseason7 Woww I’m honestly speechless 😁!! This makes me so happy fr, thank you for believing in me and seeing what I bring to the game. I’m going to keep grinding, keep learning, and just keep proving myself. I’m really excited for the future🏀. GLAD TO BE OFFICIALLY PART OF THE PROGRAM.
@newseason7@jon_neice COACH!!! All I see is FACTS!! So excited for Jon’neice to be joining your squad and can’t wait for all the amazing things you two will accomplish together for RHS GBB!!🔥🎉
There are good players and great players. But then there are Generational talented players. Generational players accumulate a following of fans and notoriety at a young age. In short, these are RARE and Extremely Special Players.
One of these rare players is @jon_neice is a winner who know how to bring the absolute best out of anyone she plays alongside with. Her IQ is a rarity all in itself. Her IQ enables her to run her squad similar to the likes of Chris Paul. Most players (both boys & girls) don't possess the IQ that she has.
Jon'Neice also posses a lightning quick first step off the dribble (along with her great handle and footwork), allowing her to slice through multiple defenders (whether if she's creating plays for herself or others).
Any Division 1 scout will tell you the importance of a player guarding their position. Jon'Neice doesn't struggle in this field either. She makes guards extremely hesitant in testing their ball handling skill against her. Most will simply try to pass the ball ahead as soon as possible. She likes to remove confidence early by guarding full court (while sitting on her opponent's strong-hand).
I can go on and on about what this young lady brings to the game. Simply-put, you would have to see her perform for yourself. This kid is truly a generational talent and Division 1 programs need to jump on this prospect AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
This kid has a TON OF UPSIDE (especially to only be a freshman).
We're very excited to have her here at Romeoville High School standing alongside some really talented teammates (all sharing the same vision as herself)
They're all excited and focused on building the new girls basketball culture out here (and we're all here for it 💯🫡
JonNeice Akins (@BIG3_AAU) is a pest on the defensive end. Solid footwork, great footspeed, and knows how to stay in front of her matchup #PGHFreshmanIL
