LAUNCH AND LANDING
SpaceX successfully launched the NASA CRS-34 mission, sending the Dragon cargo spacecraft with more than 6,500 pounds of supplies, science experiments, and hardware to the ISS. Dragon will dock with the orbiting lab on Sunday, May 17, around 7:00 a.m. ET.
Crash involving a FedEx truck on I-95 in Brevard County is causing major delays in rainy conditions, with traffic backed up an estimated 2–3 miles.
The crash is on northbound I-95 before MM 183/SR-518, where the two left lanes are currently blocked.
Palm Bay Fire Rescue and Florida Forest Service crews are back on scene of a fire that rekindled along Madden Ave and Olivia St in SW Palm Bay.
A precautionary evacuation has been issued for nearby residents as crews work to contain the fire and prevent further spread.

Florida Forestry responding to eastern Orange County for a #brushfire in the Seminole Ranch Wildlife Management Area along the St. Johns River.
As of 5:07 p.m., the fire has grown to 300 acres and remains 0% contained.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Aviation Unit is conducting water drops as two ladder trucks spray into the woods. Meanwhile, Florida Forestry crews are working to establish fire lines throughout the area.

Crews from Palm Bay Fire Rescue, Brevard County and the Florida Forest Service are on scene working to contain the fire.

While assisting a disabled vehicle on I-95 in Brevard County, Trooper Wolff found this baby opossum after it was accidentally dropped from its mom. This little opossum was safely transported to a wildlife rehab center. 💙 #BrevardCounty#Trooper#FHP
