Hello 👋 What motivates you to build?

Im 28, from New Zealand and have an astonishing fear of letting people down especially if they’ve given me their time or money.

I’ve given Astra $100 a week and free reign over my ad spend to force me to build https://t.co/8uY8yIcipY while people start joining. 20 Signups and $200 spent so far and I've never been this motivated to keep making it better.

Nice! Any experiments you ran / important tips to share? Thats a really nice Cost per result, for some it tends closer to the $40 mark per sub.

After my Meta campaign last week I'm tempted to try out Apple App store ads directly as I've heard the ROI can be far higher. Have you taken that for a spin?

@nestymee Interesting. Does the CPM move per niche similar to youtube ads. For example in Youtube you can have a finance channel where impressions are worth $30 per 1000 because the value of those viewers is so high to advertisers. Which is a massive jump up from the average.

@FlowHaa I get paralysed but normally between two or more features I'm trying to multilane drift into existence. Then one breaks the other etc and both together take me waaaaay more time than If I would've
locked in on doing one less satisfying feature at a time.

@ClaudeDevs TLDR: use your free cloud credits if you have already burned your usage / want to preserve your regular weekly quota for things that you can only run locally.

@phil_dressler Cool! Try it again but get Astra to handle only the asset creation / compute use parts and see how much less text you end up with in the Ui. Astra can’t help labelling everything…. And then labelling its own labels.

Am I the only one that was hoping they would forget to charge us eventually for this feature? It’s lovely not having to keep my laptop open but it still feels a bit limited to justify paying for once the credits run out.

If anyone is a power user of the cloud instances and has any great use cases I’d love to see em.

@b4dgerr GPT-6 has become my little Computer Use Personal Assistant for filling in long boring flows and testing things etc. I haven't touched it since using Opus 5.5.
