“Independent Girl” is the title of the song but the working title has always been “Independent Toast”… for me at least. 🍞

When I was in high school one of the hottest groups to listen to was Dream Theater. When I heard Jordan play I was mesmerized by his insane technique. He’s a living legend and I’m overwhelmed that he wanted to join in and solo on this arrangement!
