Think of a country with extreme cold, where houses are covered with thick layers of ice. A person born and raised there is no longer affected by the cold. It becomes normal. He becomes immune.

In the same way, when we live a life of prayer and fasting from a clean and pure heart, it becomes our normal way of living.

A person who truly prays does not worry about needs because he speaks day and night with the One who promised, "I will supply all your needs."

Obedience demands a firm decision. You cannot live by your feelings, nor by the feelings of others.

Jesus stood alone and denied Himself simply to obey the Father.

Beloved, there is no way we can fulfill the will of God unless we deny everything that pertains to self.
