DAY 70
Revision + OSINT today.
Revised the cybersecurity and networking concepts I've learned so far and also got introduced to OSINT
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 68
Went deeper into routing today.
Learned how routers use routing information to choose paths and how packets move through multiple hops toward their destination.
Also explored how congestion can increase latency, cause packet loss, and slow down communication.
DAY 67
Learned about network congestion and how routers choose paths for packets to reach their destination.
Also understood that congestion can cause delays, packet loss, and slower communication.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 66
Went deeper into Broadcast Domains and the ARP process today.
Also went through ARP step by step and how devices find the MAC address associated with an IPv4 address.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 65
Very light day today.
Just got introduced to monitor mode in wireless adapters and how it can be used to capture wireless traffic. Didn't study much, so I'll come back to this topic properly later.

DAY 64
Revision day.
Revised the cybersecurity and networking concepts I've learned so far and refreshed the fundamentals before moving forward.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 63
Got introduced to broadcast domains today.
Learned what a broadcast domain is and how broadcast traffic stays within a network.
Also saw how routers separate broadcast domains and why this matters when designing larger networks.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 62
Learned about ARP today and how it maps an IP address to a MAC address on the local network.
Another piece of the puzzle connecting IP, MAC, and Ethernet together.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 61
Got introduced to Nikto today.
Explored how it can scan web servers and help identify potential vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and outdated components.
Another tool added to my cybersecurity toolkit.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 60
Back to Cybersecurity + Networking.
Started exploring Wireshark, filtering packets, and checking DNS requests to see network traffic in action.
Finally getting to see what's happening behind the scenes.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 58 & 59
Continued building the college event website today and spent some time recalling the cybersecurity concepts I've covered so far.
Not a heavy learning day, but getting back on track. Will continue the proper learning path soon.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 57
Revision day. Went back through the cybersecurity and networking topics I've covered so far, tested myself, and revisited the concepts that weren't fully clear.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 56
Continued Cisco Networking today. Went through MAC addresses, ARP, and how devices communicate on a local network. Slowly connecting the pieces together.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 55
Continued Cisco Networking today.
Went deeper into NAT and got introduced to PDU
PDU isn't fully clear yet, so that's tomorrow's topic.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 54
Got introduced to Splunk today and explored how it works at a high level.
Learned how it collects and analyzes logs to help security teams monitor activity and spot suspicious events.
Just the basics, but it connects well with SIEM.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 53
Went deeper into NAT, gateways, switches, and servers today.
Understood how gateways and NAT differ, how switches use MAC addresses, and how a normal PC can act as a server.
Also connected it to AI ,why GPUs are important for heavy workloads.
#CyberSecurity#Networking
DAY 52
Back to networking today.
Went deeper into DHCP and the DORA process, and understood the role of the default gateway.
Also revised private IPv4 ranges and IPv4 classes, and practiced DHCP configuration in Packet Tracer.
