Someone made a 90s point-and-click horror game where a creepy chat room starts predicting who is taken next...

Retro 90s internet horror

The game is Super Chillers: The Chat Room

I love the way this sequence of panels tells the story without needing any words at all.

This is what visual storytelling is all about!

What do y’all think?

Looking goood! 🧟‍♂️🤠

There’s a reason Henry Harper is everyone’s favorite character.

Not because he’s a good guy.

Because he’s the opposite.

He’s manipulative, ruthless, cold, and his true motivations are yet to be revealed.

A console without a disc drive nor game ownership is not worth a cent of your money🚀

Console gaming was always preferred due to:

✅Pricing
✅Convenience
✅Ownership
✅Exclusives:

PC however wins over consoles due to these benefits:

✅Free multiplayer
✅Options to buy anywhere
✅Options to have DRM-free from GOG
✅DL Steam purchase even if removed
✅Preservation
✅Good competition in pricing
✅Modding
✅System upgrades and customizations
✅Much better support
✅Biggest library of games
✅Play at the best possible specs
✅Emulation
✅Backward compatibility
✅Ultrawide monitors
✅High-refresh setups
✅Self-hosting and LAN

So in a time when consoles:

❌Have no physical media/ownership
❌Overpriced at nearly $1000
❌Little to backwards compatibility
❌Subscription-only access to some games
❌Region locked
❌Format/system exclusive
❌First party exclusives take 5-7 years to be made only to end up being mediocre and uninspired

What’s the point of a console anymore? It’s technically worthless. It’s like a horseshoe theory where consoles went from being a solution to a problem to being the very problem it sought to solve.

The same way as streaming came to replace cable only to end up exactly like cable.

✊🏼Reform
✊🏼Fire your executives
✊🏼Apologize and listen to players
