Currently have 80ish in the bank.
My Plan is last year before I go to retirement I work 4 days + 1 sick day a week. For now,I use 10 sick days a year
@ThrillReloads @MikeSonko Aircraft interior engineer here.. certification is done to exit in 90 seconds for a big reason.. risk of fire and smoke. This requirement came after many deaths on previous accident because it took to long for egress if you are not complying you put you and others in danger.
@BoomerDivvies Almost halfway.. 43Yo.. 2 kids.. will stop at 3.5M + paid house ( which will most probably be 1.5M by then ) + we will also have on top of everything 2 small defined pension plan total 80k a year + Quebec pension plan + Canada OAS.
It will be generational wealth here!
@MarkMcGrathCFP Of course, 70% is stocks ( mostly XEQT + some other ETF and single stocks ( i.e BNS, NA, TD, MFC, AEM, CNR, H, FTS, CCO) and the remaining 30% is my house. ( why having bonds..prefer to pay my mortgage)
