@GetUpESPN@espn@ESPNNBA@jj_redick@heydb We need some coverage giving @cyntmarshall her flowers for the amazing turnaround of the Mavs culture she’s orchestrated as CEO. Literally revolutionized the organization in critical ways that have led to its success in the NBA Finals.
If you love baseball history like I do, this is a must listen to provide important and helpful context to the historical data correction made yesterday by MLB. https://t.co/LFezN0Fr7h

@BScottChristmas If we’re being honest, couldn’t that also be said of every form of Protestant traditions as well? I mean, we all have some crazy practices/traditions that just become seen as normalized over time, right?
@BScottChristmas And to be clear, many liberals use bullying and the threat of 'being cancelled' to get their way. It's gross too. And just another form of fundamentalism. However, they're often not using a politically hijacked version of Jesus to justify their actions.
@BScottChristmas Many conservatives see Jesus as this rather than the one we read about in the gospels. Ironically, if Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever - then, this ain't Jesus. Jesus isn't trying to take over anything by bullying. This framework often informs their politics though
@DukeMBB@ryanyoung2323 Call out the haters. Good on Duke. Constructive criticism is fair game but there's been way too much toxic, demeaning, destructive rhetoric that is disgusting and has zero place in a real fan base.
@johnedpatton “Republicans working with democrats is how we got here.” Such clear evidence that people like this have zero interest in governing and leading - it’s about control, power, intimidation, and dominance.
For all my “The Bible says it, that settles it”/“I just read the Bible plainly” friends - please know that isn’t taking the Bible seriously. This thread is a good reminder of that.
A thought experiment, that gestures toward the problems of biblical interpretation (or at least, why we need to be cautious).
A few years ago, Michael Jackson gave us a text:
"I'm bad. I'm bad. I'm really, really bad."

@TheDukeNation I was sitting/standing next to David Robinson and Justin’s brother that game. Watching their family enjoy that moment was the highlight of that game for me.
