the trapped ion model is much smaller, which might cause one to think that the cost of production would be lower as well, due to lower raw material cost.

and a neutral atom model as well, pictured here. i think 500 raw qubits for this but can’t remember how that equated to logical qubits; it was definitely an order of magnitude lower than the trapped ion model, for which the phrase ‘two to one’ was used on the upper end.
