During the '2 state solution' era it made sense to give the PA diplomatoc legitimacy. Now that this is basicaly abandoned, the Israeli government will do whatever it can to deny legitimacy and political contacts to the Palestinians.

The reality is Israel alredy negotiate w Hamas quietly. They should still fight Hamas, but allow them a platform
