Jonathan Kayemba is a seasoned information technology and digital transformation leader with over 16 years of experience spanning business process automation, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.

As Chairperson of the Governing Board of the CIO-CXO Leadership Forum, he brings both deep technical grounding and a strong record of institutional governance.

He is the CEO of Logos Cloud Edge Limited (managed IT services) and the Founder & Director of Logos Skills Training Centre (hands-on IT skills training), and he served as Chief Technology Officer at Kamro Capital, where he led product design for Pesasa, an invoice-financing platform.

Earlier in his career he worked as an Information Systems Engineer across the banking, telecommunications, healthcare, aviation, manufacturing, retail, agribusiness, and services sectors, giving him a cross-industry view of how technology translates into measurable value. His governance and leadership experience runs deep.

Jonathan is a former Director of The Innovation Village, Kampala; a past President of BNI Integrity Uganda; a Board Member of the Uganda Home Economics Institute; and Secretary of the Board of NECEA.

He has advised the Uganda Manufacturers Association, USSIA, and the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industries as an IT consultant, and has mentored entrepreneurs through Yunus Social Business, Imuka Access, and the Mara Foundation.

He holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from Makerere University and is pursuing Microsoft certification as an Azure AI Engineer Associate and Cybersecurity Architect Expert.

He is underpinned by more than 430 hours of advanced Microsoft training across 124 learning paths in AI, cloud architecture, security, and data governance, two ITU Academy programmes (on digital sovereignty and national digital autonomy, and on measuring digital development), and a certificate in Ethical and Responsible AI in Sub-Saharan Africa convened by HealthAI and Makerere University’s IDI with support from Canada’s IDRC.

A Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow, Jonathan is a committed advocate for people empowerment, skills development, and responsible digital transformation across Africa.
