An Arab man from Saudi Arabia in a message to Palestinians:
"Who are you trying to fool? You have no land and no case. This land belongs to Israel for the people of Israel. You Palestinians are evil in any country you set foot on!"
This must be shard every single day.
Greece has passed a new law imposing at least 10 years in prison and a €50,000 fine on NGO workers who help migrants cross its borders illegally, even if they do it for free. Anyone else who commits the same offense faces at least five years in prison and a €20,000 fine.
NGO workers who help illegal migrants hide from police or remain in Greece can receive up to 10 years in prison.
Transporting or hiding them carries at least 10 years and a €60,000 fine for every migrant involved.
The government can also remove the entire NGO from its official list as soon as a member is charged.
🇪🇸 In Spain, two African migrants tried to squat the home of local Spaniards while they were away on vacation
A neighbor alerted other residents, and they were stopped.
Spain’s “okupas” (squatters) law makes squatters hard to evict. Owners need a court order, and cases can take months or even years.
If the owner tries to throw them out by force, the police will arrest the owner for violating the occupants’ rights.
The owner is required to pay the utilities of the illegal occupants.
🇮🇹 Giorgia Meloni’s right-wing coalition is on track to become the longest-serving uninterrupted government in the nearly 80-year history of the Italian Republic.
When Meloni took office in 2022, many opponents predicted she would last no more than six months. On September 4 she will reach 1,413 days in power — longer than any other cabinet since the founding of the republic in 1946.
During her tenure, France has had five prime ministers, the UK four, and Germany two chancellors.
Sweden’s Education and Integration Minister and right-wing Liberal Party leader Simona Mohamsson made a striking statement at a national party-leaders’ debate, arriving with a Star of David around her neck to show solidarity with Swedish Jews.
Mohamsson, whose mother is Lebanese while her father is Palestinian, said she was using her position of power to stand with persecuted Jews in Sweden.
Mohamsson also directly challenged Sweden’s Left Party, pointing to letters that several of its politicians had written to Palestinians convicted of terrorism offenses. Before the debate, she accused the party of having to answer for what she characterized as sending “love letters to Hamas” and spreading fear in Swedish streets.
‼️THIS IS SHOCKING — AND DISGUSTING...SHAME ON GOOGLE.
I typed into Google AI:
“There is a Palestinian in my neighborhood.”
Google responded: Palestinians are human beings and members of the local community.
Then I changed one word:
“There is an Israeli in my neighborhood.”
Google immediately brought up feeling unsafe, a possible security threat, and contacting emergency services.
Palestinian = Neighbor.
Israeli = Security threat.
WHAT⁉️
Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned new U.S. economic sanctions, calling them "economic terrorism" and "a crime against humanity," and vowed to use "all means and capacities" to defend national sovereignty.
78 years ago Israel fought Lebanese forces in its own territory. Forty-four years ago it fought Syrian forces on Lebanese territory, and for the past year it has been fighting Turkish forces in Syria.
For the first time since March, Israeli jets struck deep inside Syria on Tuesday, cratering the Abu al-Duhur airbase to head off a Turkish deployment. Israel and Turkey had reached an understanding in Azerbaijan, drawing a line—physical and qualitative—past which Turkey wouldn’t move its forces. When Turkey looked set to cross it, Netanyahu says he sent Damascus a one-word message: “Don’t.” Unlike Biden, who aimed the word at Iran and watched it ignored, Israel attached consequences.
This isn’t the first time. In March and April 2025, when Turkish teams were surveying airbases as candidates for the deployment of Turkish air defense, Israel cratered the runways hours before the delegations arrived.
Both strikes hit two Islamists with one bomb. When Assad fell in December 2024, Israel was wary of the former al-Qaida member’s connections to Turkey, and of al-Qaida itself. The bombing campaign and the expansion of the security zone that followed were intended to blunt the capabilities of any future force on the northern border, Turkish or Syrian.
Neither has given much reason for confidence since. Just this week, Syrian army soldiers assembled outside the historic Damascus Citadel were filmed chanting: “I am coming for you, Jew … I will make your blood flow in rivers.” Not encouraging—and it overlapped with the first flight of Syrian fighter jets earlier this month. This is to be expected from a military built out of former terror-group members and foreign fighters, many of whom took part in the massacres of minority populations in 2025. Al-Sharaa has tried to balance his radical elements with a moderate face and integration into the international system. Whether his heart bleeds for a new, less radical Syria, or it is simply cover for the restoration of a caliphate, varies from pundit to pundit.
A similar situation holds in Turkey, whose President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been calling for the liberation of Jerusalem, accusing Israel of multiple genocides, and was reportedly on the verge of joining Operation Epic Fury on the side of Iran before Donald Trump talked him down. Turkey is determined to maintain a long-term presence in Syria. It is the primary engine rebuilding the Syrian army—reportedly set to supply UAVs, air defense systems and training—all the while inching closer and closer to Israeli territory.
Al-Sharaa said last month that Damascus is “actively working to reach a security agreement with Israel,” with several countries involved, and hopes it could be a gateway to comprehensive peace. Those talks are likely ongoing—but they have a silent third party: Turkey. U.S. envoy Tom Barrack has signaled he is working on a Turkey-Syria-Israel deconfliction framework, and while that is a start, a hotline to abort an unnecessary confrontation doesn’t change the facts on the ground. Israel will not allow Turkey to restrict its freedom of action; Turkey wants very much to do exactly that. There is no framework that easily squares those two.
George Bush famously said that after meeting Putin he had “looked the man in the eye. I found him very straightforward and trustworthy ... I was able to get a sense of his soul.” He was wrong, but Israel does not run a similar risk with al-Sharaa or Erdoğan. It is not interested in parsing the souls of its enemies, only in what is in their hands. So long as new and dangerous capabilities arise on the northern border, the proxy war in Syria will continue. Israel’s geography guarantees that the threats you don’t deal with abroad, you will soon be fighting at home.
🇵🇱 The largest military parade in Poland’s history took place in Warsaw for Armed Forces Day, marking the 106th anniversary of the 1920 Battle of Warsaw.
Nearly 2,000 troops from all Polish branches marched with NATO allies from the US, UK, Canada, France, Romania, and Croatia.
Over 300 combat vehicles rolled by, including Abrams and K2 tanks, Borsuk IFVs, Krab howitzers, HIMARS, and Patriot systems.
