Grandmother Fish: A Child’s First Book of Evolution. Kids love learning that we are part of the animal family. #evolution#science @GrandmotherFish. Also games.
Inspired by my daughter, I worked for 15 years to make Grandmother Fish a reality. Now it's in Italian, Chinese, and Japanese! Hoot hoot!

With Grandmother Fish, little kids mimic the sounds and motions of our ancestors as they learn the story of #evolution. There’s no other book like it. “Highly recommended for homes, schools, and libraries.” —School Library Journal @MacKidsBooks@MacKidsSL#ChildrensBooks
Ten years ago, this blog post by @bjkingape put Grandmother Fish on the map. It went viral, and my small run of self-published books sold out. Wish I'd printed a lot more copies! This question is just as timely today as it was 10 years ago. #evolution https://t.co/mphEojg5BV
@sociologyWV Cars these days have anti-lock brakes so you can't make the mistake of locking your brakes in a skid. Tractors don't seem to have this feature.
@sociologyWV Reportedly Shakespeare was in a power struggle with the well-loved clown William Kempe. It's easy to imagine Shakespeare steaming at Kempe getting the last laugh every night. The past was weird, man.

@SeattleDSA I'm a Seattle leftie. Is it true that DSA is for abolishing police & prisons? That's what I heard, but it seems out of step with the socialism that I grew up with or that I see elsewhere in the world, so maybe I heard wrong. Thanks.
Trump to generals: Loosen up! Cheer for me! Or leave if you want. But in which case there goes your future <laughter>
An amazing scene. The only thing they find funny is when he alludes to his own authoritarianism.
No doubt about what they’re thinking.
@KevinLamb74@atlasgames Also Metamorphosis Alpha. The second RPG I ever played was SF: Have Laser Will Travel. That was the game I invented when I didn't have enough money to buy Metamorphosis Alpha. 2/2
@KevinLamb74 Back in the day, I played Cyberpunk so I could write a little something for it for @atlasgames, but otherwise my science fiction games were Gamma World, Traveller, BRP, and some weird game that everyone's forgotten about. 1/2
So far I've given away a bunch of old games & raised $1872 for @PPFA. The project is on hold, but if someone wants to top me off with an offer of $128 + shipping they could get a lot of these cool, old minis. 1/2

@ed_hagen I value Fuentes because he believes in his position enough to lay it out there. In Creative Spark, for example, he describes human society before we "invented gender". Pretty bold! His description is short, and I wish he'd gone into lots more detail so readers could judge better.
Tina Peters was convicted by a jury of her peers, and is serving a prison sentence for her crimes. I will not be intimidated by the Trump Administration’s threats. Colorado will always stand for the rule of law, even when the President refuses to do so.

Another 2020 media lawsuit settled: the conservative channel Newsmax just agreed to pay $67 to Dominion Voting Systems to settle their defamation lawsuit.
The trial was supposed to happen earlier this year but got postponed.
Newsmax also settled a case by Smartmatic earlier
@CJFerguson1111 Yep. If one's political platform is anti-America, anti-cop, and anti-white-people, you have a chance if your facts are compelling. If you facts are iffy, however, all the negativity toward the average voter is going to come back as negativity from the average voter to you.
@MattPolProf Yes, debating is terrible, yet people think it's productive. How about, "Engage in open-hearted dialogue with me, bro, so we can each understand the other's position better"?
