@DavidSends@jpodhoretz Yeah, the zues's law thing was extremely cheesy by the end. They should've just let odysseus be the very complicated character he is in the book.
@DiracDeltaFunk@SlopHq yeah :( I think the city was also zoned for significantly more apts around that time, though i don't recall how many actual apts existed. I'm sure tenements meant a much higher density per unit.

@oh_HOLMES There are still plenty of 4-5 story tenement-style buildings that have 100% stabilized units. Those are the LLs hurting the most since the 2019 rent law changes.
@oh_HOLMES Can't speak to other boroughs, but in manhattan atleast there are basically no highrises anywhere close to 100% rent stabilized at this point.
There are plenty with 10-20% of units stabilized, but the market rent units subsidize the stabilized ones.
