Former vice president and now Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo is in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur for the Palarong Pambansa 2026, where she visited the Bicol delegation quarters and attended the welcome parade and dinner hosted by local officials.

Robredo thanked Bayugan Mayor Kirk Asis and the city government for what she described as well-maintained athlete accommodations and strong support for the delegations, noting clean facilities, air-conditioned dorms and improved dining areas for student-athletes.

Magnificent Five Senators Kiko Pangilinan, Tito Sotto, Ping Lacson, Risa Hontiveros, and Bam Aquino introduced and filed a resolution URGING BATO DELA ROSA to voluntarily surrender.

The Resolution cites the previous examples of voluntary surrender and judicial submission by Juan Ponce Enrile, Leila De Lima, and Sonny Trillanes. (This belies Cayetano’s false claims).

It also cites that the parliamentary immunity and privilege from arrest is LIMITED to offenses punishable by not more than six (6) years of imprisonment.
