Well done to all those who presented for the Ivor Lewis Prize. So much high caliber research and great to have some presentations from outside of Wales too
Sharing the accreditation of @SwanseaCRECT@SwanseabayNHS as a recognised ileoanal pouch centre by @ACPGBI . Huge testament to the 30+ years of providing the service as founded locally by @JohnBeynon5 and Nick Carr. https://t.co/WJKC7KHJ5A

Friday was a very special day at Princess of Wales Hospital as we formally renamed the day surgery unit to Richard Johnson Day Surgery Unit, in memory of an exceptional surgeon, leader and all round inspirational colleague. Thank you to Richard’s family.
Celebrating #NHS75birthday. A time of reflection. In our 30th year of supporting our trainees, we are thinking of Brian Rees OBE. He saw a need for training in innovative technique to support the NHS in Wales. Voila WIMAT! Miss him everyday. We'd love to hear your memories of BIR
Couldn’t agree more. Being referred to as “junior” having been qualified for best part of 13 years is unhelpful. Another reason I lament the loss of titles such as senior SHO and senior registrar as these reflected progression.
Today we celebrated #NHS75 with colleagues from across the Welsh healthcare sector at The people who care event at the Senedd.
Our Wales board member Asmaa Al-allak joined us, speaking with MSs, including Health Minister @Eluned_Morgan.
Thanks to our sponsors.
The first group of medical students trained at Bangor University have completed their studies! 👩🎓👩⚕️
These are the first group of students to be trained entirely in North Wales. 🏴
This is a positive step towards creating the North Wales Medical School.
