@CLEAPSS_Primary What’s your position on batteries at KS1+2? Alkaline are more likely to get hot when short circuited. Zinc chloride are more likely to leak chemicals onto skin (and will be flat when you want to use them anyway).

@Glazgow Before we had data loggers, we used ‘pops’ at school to measure the brightness of lightbulbs. Pops = How many ‘pieces of paper’ needed to block the light.
