@scottderrickson Exactly this. 70mm allows you to see more. It’s twice as wide and has a larger negative area. This results in a bigger, brighter, and more detailed picture with a broader color range. I.E. 2001, Khartoum and How The West Was Won. All filmed in 70mm Cinerama.
