@mrjakehumphrey But another reminder to Red Bull again that their employees have a responsibility to behave in an appropriate way as a voice of influence over impressionable people who, sad as it seems to most people, take their cues on how to think and behave from them.
Think Gianpiero #Lambiase and @redbullracing owe Kimi #Antonelli an apology. Snide, disrespectable and completely untrue comments about the behaviour of a rival driver are totally unacceptable. #QatarGP
Weird untrue narrative being spun by @SkySportsF1 host that the #QatarGP result was because #McLaren were “too fair”, despite both drivers, the team principle, Verstappen & even the excellent Brundle & Chadwick saying it had nothing to do with it. Poor F1 journalism from Lazenby.
@AdamMcKola We’re the team of Best, Copell, Sharpe, Kanchelskis, Giggs, Beckham, Ronaldo. Young talented wingers are our DNA, the foundation of ALL our success. Seeing Garnacho, Sancho, Rashford, Antony exit because managers can’t handle talent is tragic, such a waste. You shouldn’t gloat.
@AdamMcKola Unless he drops 3-4-3 or 5-2-2-1 or whatever nonsense he’s trying to do, stops picking full backs as wide midfielder and drops Fernandes who is now utterly embarrassing as a Utd captain, then yes, this situation can’t go on. It’s awful and not how United should be playing.
After years of excellent #F1 commentary for @SkySportsF1, it was awful from @CroftyF1 today. Felt like he didn’t have a grasp on Q3 & pole scenarios at all as it unfolded. No mention in real time of the historical significance of @Max33Verstappen’s record breaking lap. Very poor.
@ragnf1 I’m no fan of Verstappen but 4 world championships vs. none is a significant upgrade, especially when you consider that Verstappen is outperforming teammates by a mile & so clearly out performing the base level of what that car is capable of. Compared to Russell, he’s way ahead.
@DonnyVerstappen Senna (1991), Schumacher (1994) and Hamilton (2008) won titles without the faster car throughout a season. Verstappen has always had the fastest car on average over the course of a season, when winning. So I think it’s:
1. Schumacher
2. Senna
3. Hamilton
Big gap
4. Verstappen
@henrywinter What credit does Tuchel have in the bank? He should be trying to prove himself with positive moves & creative thinking. That was an appalling display. Poor tactics & team selection, lacklustre in every way. Yet another manager who is wasting the abundance of talent we have.
@FabrizioRomano Imagine being a multimillionaire & not getting a bit of extra salary being the reason you don’t want to play for a team in the CL & would rather go back to a club that doesn’t want you, just for more money. I hope he succeeds at Utd but boy does he make it difficult to like him.
@samuelluckhurst We can turn a corner & start improving if he goes. I appreciate what he’s done for the club but he’s flattered to deceive in recent seasons. Hope he goes so we can rebuilding. I won’t miss his diving, shouting at teammates, awful crossing and only playing well once every 4 games.
@samuelluckhurst Disgraceful. He’s one of only two players fit to wear the shirt and cut out to play for the club (Amad is the other, and no, Fernandes isn’t good enough). Hard to warm to Amorim when he’s replacing talented young wingers with full backs. The club’s soul and spirit is evaporating.
So, who will be brave enough to pit after lap 1 at #MonacoGP to get their 1st pit stop out the way immediately & then wait for the inevitable safety cars to make the strategy work. Got to be worth a go for some midfield runners? @MBrundleF1@JensonButton@CroftyF1@SkySportsF1
