Was ready to tweet about a successful point for #Crew96 despite not playing particularly well, but that was an epic collapse. Don’t know what else to say. It’s been an awful week.

I don’t know why thinking what worked in Charlotte should be repeated but a similar lineup was the choice. Leaving the MVP running into the box loosely marked was a problem.

Great finish by Farsi and a great free kick by Gomes but the offense struggled after that, as it has since the World Cup break.

Conceding from the corner, while bad defending… fine… I’d take a tie. It’s the switching off for the winner that is inexcusable. That’s a “don’t bring your cleats tomorrow” mistake. It’s how your season ends.

This is a bad team, playing with no apparent belief or direction. Rydström was fired for lacking “Crew DNA,” but the team has resorted to the same boring play, a 4-4-2 that doesn’t fit the personnel and an inability to win games. I don’t see “the Crew” when I’m watching this team since the World Cup break.
