@ccieby30 Happy to jump on a call if you want to discuss. I’m not a network security engineer but have configured a few hundred network devices, FWs, GWs, IPN/IPS’s in my time and now I’m just too darn picky to buy an all in one solution although it would probably save me time!
@ccieby30 Adding to this. If I were going for simplicity most any router off the shelf will do. Netgear or ubiquity Amplifi. If it was for me, individual components which is more work but you have more control, I.e separate SSID for guests and kids, VPN tunnel etc.
@osteel That’s what I’m doing now. I’ve thought about just encouraging developers to copy a compose example into root which will be gitignore’d and customize parts as needed.
@osteel Some of the things I've been pondering is how to make the docker-compose.yml universal to developers who are using Win, Linux or Mac. Keep in mind this is for local development and we're coming from using Virtual Box mostly.
