@WilliamsKona My heart broke reading this…all too familiar. I grew up for part of my teenage years in Northern Ontario and witnessed this regularly…and people didn’t even try to hide it. I was often the target of overt racism, but it was much worse for my Indigenous classmates & friends. 💔
@LadderOrg I worked at a library during high school. I learned to never judge a book by its cover (pun intended 😂) I met and interacted with people from all walks of life and it taught me to rethink how I view others and the importance of building relationships.
@Schiphol Yes please do that! We were last Saturday, 16 July and we were at the airport from about 8:15 until our flight at 12:15. They were really amazing and helpful, can’t thank them enough!
With all the craziness at airports these days, I want to send a big THANKS to the security team at @Schiphol and the staff at @airtransat. Last week my family was flying from Amsterdam to Toronto, my 8 year old daughter had a bad migraine. She felt really sick as we waited…
They gave us priority boarding to get her comfortable on the flight right away…and brought lots of extra barf bags. They checked on us a few times too. After a few hours of sleeping on the flight, she was back to herself again. A million thanks @Schiphol and @airtransat 🙏🏽
Then they escorted us to the priority line at passport control so she didn’t have to stand in line again. When we got to our gate, the @airtransat crew recognized her from the luggage check in line up where she sat on the side trying to rest.
@TD_Canada It’s extremely frustrating, especially after working with other Canadian private lenders who offer much more flexibility…so it’s not just European banks. Sometimes it’s not feasible to travel during these times and no options are being offered. POA should always be an option.
Maybe I’ve been spoiled by European banking systems for the past 4 years, but big Canadian banks need to catch up. How is it in 2022 that @TD_Canada still requires in person signatures for basically everything, including from clients based overseas temporarily?!
And not even allowing for power of attorney?! Archaic and extremely disappointing that even customers of nearly 20 years have to jump through ridiculous hoops to get anything done! Partly why we’ve looked to Canadian private institutes who are more flexible. #frustratedTDcustomer
