HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY TO MY FIRST DAUGHTER, ADA:MY PRINCESS!!!
Today, my heart is filled with immense joy and gratitude to Almighty God as my first daughter, Ada, my beautiful Princess, turns 23.
My dear Ada, from the very first day I held you in my arms, you brought a special kind of joy into my life. Watching you grow from that precious little girl into the beautiful, intelligent and remarkable young woman you are today has been one of the greatest privileges and blessings of my life.
As my first daughter, you will always occupy a very special place in my heart. No matter how old you become, you will forever remain Daddy’s Princess.
On your 23rd birthday, I pray that Almighty God will continue to guide your steps, protect you, grant you wisdom and favour, and cause you to excel in all that you do. May doors of greatness open before you, may your dreams become beautiful realities, and may your life continually be filled with peace, good health, happiness and fulfilment.
May you always remember how deeply you are loved and how proud I am to call you my daughter.
Happy 23rd Birthday, my darling Ada, my Princess!
Daddy loves you beyond words.

MY LAGOS ENGAGEMENTS: A WEEKEND OF BROTHERHOOD, ENTERPRISE, COMMUNITY AND FAITH
Last weekend in Lagos afforded me another valuable opportunity to engage with our brothers, leaders, business community and stakeholders from across Imo West Senatorial District (Orlu Zone), strengthening relationships anchored on unity, development, enterprise, faith and service.
I had an interactive session with Orlu Zone members of Akuluno United Brothers Association (AUBA), led by the National President, High Chief Mike Ejiogu, PDP Senatorial Candidate for Imo East Senatorial District. Our discussions centred on the philosophy of Akuluno:the imperative for our people to invest at home, create opportunities, support indigenous enterprise and contribute meaningfully to the development of our communities.
I also attended the 2nd Anniversary of Akuluno United Brothers Association and the launch of the book, “Akuluno: A Catalyst for the Development of Igbo Land,” at the Monarch Event Centre, Lekki, Lagos. I commend High Chief Mike Ejiogu, the leadership and entire membership of AUBA for championing a philosophy that encourages our people to look homeward and deploy their resources, experience and entrepreneurial strength towards the development of Ala Igbo.
As part of the weekend's engagements, I paid a courtesy visit to Chief Mike Onuoha (Eriri Ego), a prominent son and respected leader from Nwangele, where we had a warm and constructive interaction on issues concerning our people and the development of our communities.
A particularly memorable and spiritually uplifting moment was my visit to Pastor Lazarus Muoka, General Overseer of The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, from whom I received prayers and spiritual blessings. I remain deeply appreciative of the prayers of God's servants and continue to place our journey and aspirations in the hands of Almighty God.
I also held an interactive meeting with members of the Alaba Traders Association from Orlu Zone, graciously hosted by Chief Chidi Reginald Mbamara. The meeting provided an important opportunity to listen to the perspectives of our traders and entrepreneurs and discuss issues affecting their businesses and communities. Our traders remain indispensable pillars of our economy, and their resilience, ingenuity and enterprise deserve an enabling environment that supports business growth, job creation and greater economic opportunities.
Another important engagement was my meeting with the executives and leaders of Amaigbo Unity Forum, led by its President, Chief Donna Ejiogu, and graciously hosted by my friend and brother, Chief Vin Ndupu. Our interaction focused on unity, community development and the collective responsibility we share in building a more prosperous future for our people.
I equally paid a courtesy visit to Ugo John Kennedy Duru, Governor of the United Isu Progressive Union, where we had another warm and constructive interaction on matters concerning our people and the development of Isu and the wider Orlu Zone.
I was accompanied during these engagements by distinguished leaders and members of our campaign organisation, including Hon. Barr. Golden Nwosu, former Commissioner for Lands and former Deputy Chief of Staff, and Chairman of our Campaign Council; Prince Marshal Okaforanyanwu, former State Chairman of APGA, first State Chairman of APC in Imo State and Director-General of our Campaign Organisation; Chief Nnamdi Nsorom, former Chairman of Isu LGA Council and Secretary of our Campaign Council; Chief Luke Ekwueme, former Chairman of Ideato North LGA under APGA and APC, currently Labour Party Chairman and Deputy Director-General of our Campaign Organisation; and Engr. Okey Onyejiaka, former Chairman of Nwangele LGA Council.
Across these engagements, one message remained constant: the future of our communities will be stronger when we harness our unity, enterprise, experience, faith and collective commitment to development.
WELCOME TO OCTOBER:OUR MONTH OF NEW POSSIBILITIES
As we step into this beautiful month of October, I give thanks to Almighty God for the gift of life, His unfailing grace and the privilege of witnessing a new month.
October reminds us that every new beginning comes with fresh opportunities to strengthen our faith, renew our commitment to one another and continue working for a better tomorrow.
As Nigeria marks another Independence anniversary, may this month rekindle in us the spirit of unity, patriotism, peace and collective responsibility. May we never lose faith in the possibilities of our nation or in what we can accomplish when leadership and service are anchored on the welfare of the people.
To my dear people of Imo West Senatorial District — Orlu Zone :may October bring peace to our homes, progress to our communities, favour in our endeavours and greater opportunities for our youths, women and families.
May the Lord go before us throughout this month, open doors that no man can shut, strengthen the weary and crown our efforts with good success.
“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.”:Proverbs 23:18 (KJV)

PDP BOARD OF TRUSTEES PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO H.E. NYESOM WIKE
On Tuesday, 22nd September 2026, I joined members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees on a condolence visit to H.E. Barr. Nyesom Wike, CON, Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and National Leader of our great party, the PDP, at his residence in Abuja, following the passing of his close ally and brother, Chief Dan Orbih, National Vice Chairman (South-South) of our great party, the PDP.
The delegation was led by the Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, Distinguished Senator Mao Ohuabunwa.
It was a solemn moment as we commiserated with the Honourable Minister over the loss of a man with whom he shared a close personal and political relationship.
In his remarks, the BoT Chairman encouraged the Honourable Minister to remain focused and steadfast, assuring him of the unalloyed loyalty, solidarity and commitment of the Board of Trustees to his course.
We prayed that Almighty God would grant the soul of Chief Dan Orbih eternal rest and give H.E. Nyesom Wike, the Orbih family, his friends, associates and the entire PDP family the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss.
May the soul of Chief Dan Orbih rest in perfect peace. Amen.

A DAY OF FELLOWSHIP, SERVICE AND CELEBRATION ACROSS IMO WEST
Today, Saturday, 12th September 2026, was another fulfilling day of engagements with our people across Imo West Senatorial District (Orlu Zone), sharing in moments of both sorrow and joy.
I began by joining my elder brother and Chairman of our Imo West Senatorial Campaign Council, Hon. Barr. Golden Nwosu, his family and other sympathisers in Umuokanne, Ohaji/Egbema LGA, as we paid our final respects to Late Evang. Victor Ifeanyi Brown, who passed on at the age of 57. I pray that Almighty God grants his soul eternal rest and gives the entire family the fortitude to bear this painful loss.
I also had the privilege of attending the 9th Executive Council Inauguration of the National Congress of Ohaji Youths (NACOY). I congratulated the newly inaugurated President, Comr. Johncliff Ogbuehi, and his executive members and encouraged them to lead with integrity, inclusiveness and an unwavering commitment to the welfare and development of Ohaji youths. I was pleased to support the new leadership as they begin this important responsibility.
Thereafter, I joined the families of Mr. & Mrs. ThankGod Okeke Oku of Ndi Awa, Arondizuogu, Ideato North LGA, and Late Mr. & Mrs. Aloysius Igweokwu of Umuarugwu, Uzoakwa, Ihiala, Anambra State, in celebrating the wedding and traditional marriage of their children, Ginika Promise Okeke and Chijioke Promise Igweokwu. I congratulate the beautiful couple and pray that God blesses their union with enduring love, peace, understanding, fruitfulness and many joyful years together.
Today once again reminded me that leadership is about being present with the people:mourning with those who mourn, encouraging our youths, and rejoicing with those who rejoice. These bonds of community, friendship and shared humanity are what make us one people.
May God continue to bless our people and grant us peace and progress across Orlu Zone.

A GROWING MOVEMENT ACROSS ORLU ZONE: GRATEFUL FOR THE ENDORSEMENTS, SOLIDARITY AND CONFIDENCE
The past few days have been truly encouraging as I received several delegations, political organisations, youth bodies, women’s groups and community-based associations who came to identify with our vision for a New Beginning in Imo West Senatorial District.
What is particularly significant to me is that these expressions of support are coming from people across different political, religious, social and community backgrounds. It reinforces my conviction that the future of Orlu Zone must be built on unity, inclusion, service and our shared aspirations as a people.
I was delighted to receive the leadership of the Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria (CYON), Orlu Diocese, led by its President, Ezinwa Chibuike Omanuruo of St. Michael’s Catholic Parish, Oboro Amurie, Isu LGA, for a breakfast solidarity visit.
Our interaction provided another opportunity to listen to our young people and exchange ideas on their role in the development of our communities. I remain committed to supporting initiatives that positively engage and empower our youths, just as I was privileged to support the 2026 NYCO Fiesta morally and financially.
I also received the Imo Peace Ladies, led by Madam Kelechi Okoro. I was deeply appreciative of their decision to adopt and endorse my candidacy for the Imo West Senate. Our discussions centred on issues affecting women, youths, families and communities, and I reassured them that inclusive representation and empowerment will remain important pillars of our agenda.
The leadership of the Labour Party, Nkwerre LGA Chapter, led by Hon. Emeka Nwosu, also visited to reaffirm their adoption and endorsement of my candidacy. This follows the earlier endorsement by the Labour Party leadership in Imo State under Hon. Barr. Calistus Ihejiagwa.
I received with gratitude the leadership and members of Way Forward in Nwangele LGA, led by Comrade Chidozie Uzoma, who formally adopted and endorsed me as their sole candidate for the Imo West Senatorial election. Their commitment to mobilising support for our project across Nwangele is deeply appreciated.
In the same spirit, I welcomed the leadership of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Orlu Zone, including Hon. Nwaneri Obinna, SDP Orlu Zonal Chairman, and Hon. Barr. Robinson Orisakwe, SDP Nkwerre LGA Chairman and Chairman of the SDP LGA Chairmen in Imo State, who expressed their solidarity and support for our senatorial aspiration.
The Orlu-Wu-Otu Support Group, led by Hon. Evans Nnadiekwe, equally visited and reaffirmed its support for our journey, emphasising the importance of unity and purposeful representation for Ndi Orlu.
I was also honoured to receive the Great Orlu People’s Assembly, led by its Secretary-General, Evang. Dr. Reginald Adizua of Oguta LGA, alongside Dr. Amb. Emmanuel Bilechukwuemeka and other members. The Assembly adopted me as its sole candidate for the Imo West Senate and expressed its determination to support our movement.
I am profoundly humbled by these endorsements and expressions of confidence.
For me, however, every endorsement carries a responsibility. Every handshake represents an expectation. Every declaration of support strengthens my determination to serve.
This journey must continue to bring our people together irrespective of political affiliation, religious denomination, community or social background. Our strength lies in recognising that although we may approach politics from different perspectives, we share one Orlu Zone and a common desire for effective representation, development and opportunities for our people.
I therefore welcome everyone who believes in a better future for Imo West to join us.
To the youths, women, political leaders, community organisations, professionals, traditional institutions, religious bodies and ordinary citizens who continue to identify with this project, I do not take your confidence for granted.
IMO WEST CAMPAIGN COUNCIL INAUGURATED: A UNITED TEAM FOR VICTORY
On Sunday, 6th September 2026, we formally inaugurated the Imo West Senatorial District Campaign Council at my country home in Owerre Nkwoji, Nkwerre LGA.
I was deeply honoured to receive H.E. Distinguished Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu (Sam Daddy), South East Leader and National Secretary of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who personally inaugurated the Campaign Council and charged us to remain united, focused and committed to victory.
Significantly, this campaign is a collective project involving our four PDP House of Representatives candidates in Imo West Senatorial District, working together with me and our entire campaign structure:
Hon. Tochi Iwunamara — PDP Candidate for Nkwerre/Isu/Njaba/Nwangele Federal Constituency;
Hon. Joe Ikunna — PDP Candidate for Oru West/Oguta/Ohaji-Egbema Federal Constituency;
Hon. Henry Ike — PDP Candidate for Ideato North/Ideato South Federal Constituency;
and our PDP House of Representatives candidate for Orlu/Orsu/Oru East Federal Constituency.
Together, we are building one united campaign family across the 12 Local Government Areas of Orlu Zone—from the senatorial district to the federal constituencies, wards, communities and polling units.
The inauguration therefore represents much more than the unveiling of a campaign structure. It signals the beginning of a coordinated grassroots movement founded on unity, teamwork, service, integrity and effective representation.
I sincerely appreciate our party leaders, candidates, stakeholders, women, youths, coordinators and supporters who came from across Orlu Zone and beyond to identify with this movement.
To every member of the Campaign Council, our assignment is clear: take our message to every ward, every community, every polling unit and every household. We must work together, speak with one voice and earn the confidence of our people.
One team. One purpose. One Orlu Zone.
By the grace of God and the support of our people, we shall succeed together.

A DAY OF BLESSINGS, REFLECTION AND RENEWED ASSURANCE
I started the day at my home church, St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Owerre Nkwoji, where I worshipped and received prayers and blessings from Ven. Chibuzo Collins Ugbede and other members of the clergy.
Thereafter came a deeply personal and sober moment as I visited the graveside of my late father, Ven. J.D.J. Onyereri. I prayed, reflected on the journey before me, and left with a renewed sense of purpose and the inner release to continue my political journey with faith, courage and the full assurance of victory.
From there, I sought the blessings of my immediate clan, Okoro Udonye in Ishie Owerre, Owerre Nkwoji, led by Ekele Onyeama. In keeping with our cherished traditions, they presented me to my people of Ishie Owerre, led by Chibuike Nwosu.
Together, we marched to the palace of our traditional ruler, His Royal Highness, Eze Boniface Unogu, Ishie Igbo of Owerre Nkwoji, where I received his royal blessings for the journey ahead.
For me, this was much more than a political engagement. It was a homecoming rooted in God, family, ancestry, community and tradition. To receive the prayers and blessings of the Church, reflect at my father's resting place, and receive the blessings of my clan, village and traditional ruler was deeply humbling and spiritually uplifting.
Later in the day, we proceeded to Umuokanne in Ohaji/Egbema LGA, where we paid our last respects to Late Mrs. Philomena Enwereuzor, mother of our PDP Ohaji/Egbema LGA Legal Adviser, Barr. Kelechi Enwereuzor.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to Barr. Kelechi Enwereuzor and the entire Enwereuzor family. May Almighty God grant Mama eternal rest and give the family the strength and fortitude to bear this loss.
Today reminded me once again that every meaningful journey must be anchored in God, the blessings of our people, respect for our roots and service to humanity.
We move forward with faith, humility and confidence.

JONES MIDWEEK NUGGET
LEADERSHIP IS A TRUST, NOT A PRIVILEGE
Leadership is not an opportunity to be served; it is a responsibility to serve. Every position, influence or opportunity God gives us comes with an obligation to make life better for others.
A true leader does not measure success by the number of people who praise him, but by the number of lives he positively impacts. He listens to the people, feels their concerns and remains committed to justice, compassion and fairness.
The Scripture reminds us:
“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”:Micah 6:8 (KJV)
Leadership must therefore be anchored on justice, mercy and humility. Power without compassion loses its purpose, and authority without humility creates distance between a leader and the people.
Never become too important to listen. Never become too powerful to care. Never become too comfortable to remember those whose voices are rarely heard.
Scripture also says:
“Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”:Galatians 6:2 (KJV)
Wherever God places you, use your influence to lift others. Let your leadership give people hope. Let your words encourage them. Let your actions demonstrate that their welfare truly matters.
The greatest legacy of leadership is not the position you occupied, but the lives that became better because you served.
May God give us the wisdom, humility and courage to serve faithfully.

CONSULTATION, INTERACTION AND GRASSROOTS ENGAGEMENT: BUILDING TOGETHER
I had a productive series of consultative and interactive meetings with key religious, youth and grassroots groups as we continue to deepen our engagement with the people of Orlu Zone.
First, I met with the Orlu PFN Leadership and Jones Orlu Zonal Pentecostal Coordinators, where we had meaningful discussions centred on leadership, service, faith and the future of our people.
Secondly, I interacted with the Umueke Owerre Nkwoji Youth Group, led by Arc. Emeka. It was encouraging to listen to the voices, aspirations and concerns of our young people, whose energy and participation remain vital to the development of our communities.
Thirdly, I met with the Jones Evangelical Booth-to-Booth Coordinators, led by Evang. George Chinemerem. I deeply appreciate their commitment, grassroots mobilisation and determination to take our message of purposeful representation directly to the people.
Finally, I held an interactive meeting with the Nkwerre PDP Youth Leaders, led by Cheta Orisakwe, where we discussed the important role of our youths in strengthening the party and advancing our collective vision.
These engagements reinforce my conviction that effective representation must begin with listening to the people, engaging them directly and carrying everyone along.
Our movement is growing from the grassroots, community by community, booth by booth and person by person.
Together, we are building A NEW BEGINNING for Imo West Senatorial District.

IMO LABOUR PARTY ADOPTS ME AS CONSENSUS CANDIDATE FOR IMO WEST SENATORIAL DISTRICT
I am deeply humbled and encouraged by the decision of the leadership of the Labour Party (LP) in Imo State to adopt and endorse my candidature for the Senate as their consensus candidate for Imo West Senatorial District.
Today, 1st September 2026, the Imo State Chairman of the Labour Party, Hon. Barr. Calistus Ihejiagwa, declared:
“Dr. Jones Onyereri’s senatorial election is not only for the PDP; it is for all parties.”
These words are significant to me because they speak to something I have always believed: the future of Imo West must rise above political party differences.
I am the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, and I remain proud of my party, but the responsibility of representing Imo West in the Senate, by the grace of God and the mandate of our people, is a responsibility to every citizen of Orlu Zone irrespective of political affiliation.
I therefore receive this endorsement with humility and a profound sense of responsibility.
I am particularly grateful that this decision received the support of the 12 LGA Chairmen, 12 Women Leaders, 12 Secretaries, the Orlu Zonal leadership and the State leadership of the Labour Party.
To the leadership and members of the Labour Party, I say thank you for looking beyond party lines and placing your confidence in my experience, capacity and commitment to our people.
This is bigger than Jones Onyereri. It is about building a broad coalition of men, women, youths, professionals, traditional institutions, community leaders and political stakeholders who believe that Imo West deserves effective, purposeful and people-centred representation in the Senate.
My hands remain open to members of every political party and to all our people across the 12 LGAs of Imo West.
We may belong to different political parties, but we belong to one Imo West.
Together, we can begin a new chapter.
Together, we can give our people a stronger voice.
Together, we can make A NEW BEGINNING a reality.
May God bless the Labour Party leadership for this remarkable show of confidence.
May God bless the Peoples Democratic Party.
May God bless the good people of Imo West Senatorial District.

AN EXCITING INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH THE ORLU DIVINE MOVEMENT
I had the pleasure of engaging in an exciting and highly interactive session with members of The ORLU Divine Movement.
It was a refreshing opportunity to listen, exchange ideas and discuss issues concerning the future of our people and the development of Orlu Zone. I was particularly encouraged by their passion, enthusiasm and genuine desire to contribute meaningfully to the progress of our communities.

HAPPY NEW MONTH:WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER
As we step into this new month of September, I give thanks to Almighty God for the gift of life, His sustaining grace and the privilege of another opportunity to serve our people.
A new month reminds us that no matter the challenges of yesterday, God still gives us another page on which to write a better story.
Let us enter September with fresh confidence, stronger faith and greater determination. Let us refuse to be discouraged by temporary difficulties or distracted from the things that truly matter:peace, unity, progress and the wellbeing of our people.
As leaders and citizens, may we remember that genuine leadership is about service. It is about listening to the people, standing with them and working faithfully for a future in which everyone has a reason to believe.
The Scripture assures us:
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”:Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)
May September bring new opportunities to our homes, restoration where there have been losses, answers where there have been prayers, and progress in every worthy endeavour.
May God bless you, bless your families, bless the good people of Orlu Zone, and grant us peace and prosperity throughout this new month.

GRASSROOTS ENGAGEMENT ACROSS NWANGELE AND NJABA:CONNECTING DIRECTLY WITH OUR PEOPLE
On Saturday, 29th August 2026, I continued my grassroots engagements across Nwangele and Njaba Local Government Areas, accompanied by our PDP Candidate for the House of Representatives for Nkwerre/Isu/Njaba/Nwangele (NINN) Federal Constituency, Hon. Tochukwu Iwunamara Jacob, alongside other PDP leaders and stakeholders.
Our first stop was at the ISU Country Club in Nwangele LGA, where we attended a meeting of the United Isu Progressive Union, a gathering of distinguished and influential sons of Isu.
At the meeting, I had the privilege of formally introducing Hon. Tochukwu Iwunamara Jacob to the Governor and members of the United Isu Progressive Union. He was warmly received by the organisation and also made a significant contribution towards the advancement of its projects, further demonstrating his commitment to unity, community development and collective progress.
From there, we proceeded to the Iriji (New Yam Festival) of HRH Eze Akano of Isu Autonomous Community, Nwangele LGA, where we joined traditional rulers, community leaders and the good people of Isu in celebrating our rich cultural heritage.
We thereafter moved to Amucha Autonomous Community in Njaba LGA for the Iriji celebration of HRH Eze Benjamin Onwusoroaka (Igbudu I of Umu-Amucha), where we were again warmly received by the traditional institution and the people.
These engagements afforded us another valuable opportunity to interact directly with our traditional rulers, community leaders, elders, youths and grassroots stakeholders.
For me, leadership must remain close to the people. We must continue to visit our communities, listen to our people, understand their aspirations and build relationships founded on trust, accessibility and service.
I was particularly encouraged by the warmth, enthusiasm and sense of community with which we were received throughout the engagements.
Our journey is about more than seeking political office. It is about building genuine relationships with our people and working together towards purposeful representation, sustainable development and A NEW BEGINNING for Imo West Senatorial District.
May Almighty God continue to bless the good people of Nwangele, Njaba and the entire Orlu Zone.

RT. HON. SIR JONES ONYERERI CELEBRATES WITH THE GOOD PEOPLE OF UMUDI AT IRI-JI FESTIVAL 2026
Earlier today, Sunday, 30th August 2026, I had the honour and privilege of joining the good people of Umudi Ancient Kingdom in Nkwerre LGA as they celebrated their 2026 Iri-Ji (New Yam) Festival.
It was a beautiful celebration of our rich Igbo culture, heritage, unity and thanksgiving to God for the blessings of the harvest season. I was deeply touched by the warmth, love and hospitality with which the people of Umudi received me and my entourage.
I attended the celebration alongside several distinguished leaders and stakeholders, including Hon. Tochukwu Iwunamara Jacob, House of Representatives Candidate for NINN; Barr. Golden Nwosu, Apex Leader of Ohaji/Egbema; Hon. Marshal Okoroafor-Anyanwu; Hon. Mrs. Peace Nwadike; Hon. Mike Okafor, DG, Jones Foundation; Hon. Getrude Obiefula; Hon. Ndubuisi Egburuajar, PDP Youth Leader; Hon. Dr. Nnamdi Nsorom; Hon. Ifeanyi Achononu, PDP State Legal Adviser; Hon. Carl Nwokeoma, PDP Orlu Zonal Chairman; Hon. Mrs. Uchem Ihim, Woman Leader, Nkwerre PDP; Hon. Bisike Chinaka; Hon. Ikenna Ononuju, and other prominent party stakeholders.
I particularly appreciate the traditional ruler of Umudi Ancient Kingdom, HRH Eze Sir Ajuonumah, Eze Ukwu Di of Umudi Ancient Kingdom, for his leadership and prominent role in preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of his people.
The Iri-Ji Festival is much more than a celebration of the new yam. It reminds us of who we are as a people:our respect for tradition, our spirit of community, our gratitude to God, and the enduring values handed down to us by our forefathers.
I sincerely thank the traditional institution, community leaders, youths, women and the entire good people of Umudi for the wonderful reception accorded to us.
I remain committed to working for the progress, development and greater prosperity of our communities across Imo West Senatorial District (Orlu Zone). Together, we can build a future where every community has a voice and every person has hope.

JONES SUNDAY NUGGET
YOU MAY STUMBLE, BUT YOU WILL RISE AGAIN
Life does not promise us a journey without difficulties. There will be moments of disappointment, unexpected setbacks and seasons when things do not go according to plan.
But a setback is not the end of your story.
Sometimes, what appears to be a closed door is God redirecting your steps. What looks like a delay may actually be preparation for something greater. Never allow one difficult season to make you lose faith in the future God has prepared for you.
The Scripture reminds us:
“Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.”:Psalm 37:24 (KJV)
A true leader is not someone who never encounters difficulties. A true leader is one who refuses to remain defeated. Leadership requires the courage to rise again, learn from yesterday, strengthen your resolve and continue pursuing a worthy purpose.
Do not measure your future by your present circumstances. The fact that you stumbled does not mean you have failed. The fact that the journey has become difficult does not mean you are on the wrong road.
Scripture further assures us:
“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again...”:Proverbs 24:16 (KJV)
Rise again.
Rise with greater wisdom.
Rise with stronger faith.
Rise with renewed courage.
Rise determined to serve God and humanity better than before.
This Sunday, may Almighty God strengthen every weary heart, restore every lost opportunity, open new doors and give you the grace to keep moving forward.
Your setback will not have the final word. By the grace of God, you will rise again.
Have a peaceful, blessed and victorious Sunday.

JONES MIDWEEK NUGGET
COMMIT YOUR VISION TO GOD:THEN KEEP MOVING
Every meaningful journey begins with a vision, but vision alone is not enough. There will be moments when the road becomes uncertain, when progress seems slow, and when circumstances challenge your confidence.
In such moments, do not abandon your purpose.
True leadership requires faith, courage and consistency. A good leader does not allow temporary difficulties to determine the destination. He remains focused, keeps working and trusts God with what is beyond his control.
The Scripture reminds us:
“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”:Psalm 37:5 (KJV)
Do your part diligently, but never forget to commit your plans and aspirations to God. When your intentions are sincere and your purpose is anchored in service, keep moving forward with faith.
Leadership is not about having every answer before taking the next step. Sometimes, it is about having enough faith to take that step while trusting God to illuminate the road ahead.
And the Scripture says:
“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”:Proverbs 16:3 (KJV)
Therefore, refuse to be discouraged by what you cannot see today. Keep serving. Keep building. Keep believing. What appears difficult today may become the testimony that inspires others tomorrow.
Your vision may be tested, but your faith must remain stronger than the test.
May God strengthen you, establish the work of your hands and bring your worthy expectations to fulfilment.

JONES SUNDAY NUGGET
YOUR DUE SEASON WILL COME
Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is continuing when there is little evidence that your efforts are producing results. You may have prayed, worked, sacrificed and remained faithful, yet the breakthrough seems delayed.
Do not give up.
God does not forget faithful labour. A seed does not become a harvest overnight. There is a season for planting, a season for waiting, and surely, a season for reaping.
The Scripture reminds us:
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”:Galatians 6:9 (KJV)
Your present difficulty is not the conclusion of your story. Keep doing what is right. Keep serving. Keep believing. Keep moving forward. Delay is not necessarily denial.
Leadership also requires patience and perseverance. A true leader does not abandon a worthy vision because the road becomes difficult. He remains steadfast, knowing that meaningful progress often requires sacrifice, consistency and time.
Remember:
“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”:Psalm 126:5 (KJV)
May this Sunday renew your hope and strengthen your faith. Your tears will not be wasted, your labour will not be forgotten, and by God's grace, your due season will come.
Have a blessed and peaceful Sunday.
