- CVS Ibuprofen is $9.59 for 100 tablets
- Aldi is $1.69 for 100 tablets

Both are 200mg. When you open them up and inspect them, they’re exactly the same tablet. Same stamp, they came out of the exact same factory

- The imprint I-2 / I2 on 200 mg ibuprofen is a known generic mark
- A factory manufacturers a batch of these pills
- They then get packed and labeled for different retailers

Same exact pill, just different packaging and pricing depending on what store

This is what’s know as private labeling in retail

CVS charges a premium for the “pharmacy trust” factor

Most people would agree this feels like a scam
