A PSYOP TO SHIFT PUBLIC OPINION?
Something very interesting is happening ahead of the November 3rd midterm elections.
There are approximately 1,468 candidates running for the U.S. House and Senate.
Of those, our preliminary review identified just 14 non-incumbent candidates associated with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), self-identifying as democratic socialists, or publicly accused of being socialists.
Here's the preliminary list:
Abdul El-Sayed (MI Senate) — Accused of being socialist; rejects the label.
Angie Nixon (FL Senate) — Reported DSA member; rejects the socialist label.
James Talarico (TX Senate) — Accused of socialism; identifies as a capitalist.
Claire Valdez (NY-07) — NYC-DSA endorsed.
Darializa Avila Chevalier (NY-13) — Self-identified democratic socialist; DSA endorsed.
Melat Kiros (CO-01) — Democratic socialist; DSA endorsed.
Donavan McKinney (MI-13) — DSA-backed candidate.
Chris Rabb (PA-03) — DSA endorsed.
Bernadette Greene-Placentia (AZ-08) — Reported DSA-backed.
Elizabeth Lee (AZ-05) — Listed as DSA-backed.
Angela Gonzales-Torres (CA-34) — Reported DSA affiliation.
Justin Pearson (TN-09) — Listed as DSA-associated.
Marquita Bradshaw (TN Senate) — Listed as DSA-associated.
Troy Jackson (ME Senate) — Listed as DSA-associated.
That's approximately 0.95% of the entire congressional candidate field. And even that number includes candidates who explicitly REJECT the socialist label.
Note: This remains a preliminary tracker; not all 14 candidates' November ballot placements or DSA affiliations have been independently verified.
Now consider this:
A Washington Post analysis reported that references to COMMUNISM among prominent right-leaning political voices increased 43% during the first half of 2026, compared with the same period in 2025.
Think about that contrast.
A relatively tiny percentage of congressional candidates are associated with democratic socialism, yet the political rhetoric surrounding a supposed socialist or communist takeover is intensifying dramatically.
Why?
If democratic socialism were genuinely experiencing an enormous nationwide electoral expansion, wouldn't we expect to see that reflected in a much larger field of candidates?
Here's my theory:
What if we're witnessing a deliberate psychological operation designed to SHIFT PUBLIC OPINION rather than a response to an expanding socialist movement?
What if the constant warnings about communism and socialism are intended to make Americans increasingly aware of an ideological agenda that was developed years ago?
What if the objective isn't simply to warn Americans about where the country is going, but to expose an ideology that is already losing its grip?
The repetition of these warnings could be serving to associate socialism with a perceived threat, increasing public scrutiny and opposition.
Are we witnessing the rise of socialism in America—or an accelerating campaign to turn public opinion AGAINST it?
Because the number of candidates and the intensity of the rhetoric appear to be telling two very different stories.
And THAT discrepancy deserves attention.

I think Cuda takes it by a mile. But that's my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions 🤣🤣🤣🤣
