@ASU_SuperFan Iowa state wouldn’t. When our QB got caught, we all understood the difference between right and wrong. We didn’t fight it, just accepted it because you don’t mess around with the unbreakable rule of sports.
@JacksonBig12@Cougarlvr12 Tech could also say “you gambled and broken the only unbreakable sin, we’ll support you in your recovery but you can’t play”.
He’s fighting for life changing money, so I get it. The adults in the room at tech need to start acting like adults though. @CodyC64 knows it’s wrong, it’s in his bill to ban this type of thing. They could end it now right and say he isn’t playing for them, but they continue to support the decision. It’s disgraceful all the way around.
@spaceflyboys@CodyC64 Tech did it to themselves by allowing a person who gambled on games, to continue to play. @CodyC64 also loses credibility as he’s argued for a player to play, when his own bill would outlaw it.
@tinynipples1@gwilkie80@TattedIrishGuy@RealRobReinhart If you think only 1 AD is pissed about this, I have a bridge to sell you. This breaks a rule that’s been in place forever, and has hurt teams in the past. Just because they only got 1 AD to go on record doesn’t mean they probably don’t all feel this way.
Gene Taylor deserves a lot of props for putting his name on this, because I imagine most in the industry feel this way but will be afraid to address it head on.
