BREAKING NEWS | SAPS National Spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe has confirmed the arrest of 45-year-old UK fugitive Mkhanyisi Tshuma by the SAPS Organised Crime Unit and Interpol in Kensington, Johannesburg. Tshuma allegedly fled the United Kingdom after the deaths of his wife and two children. Mathe says, “South Africa is not a hiding place for fugitives.”

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema is facing scrutiny after his name appeared in WhatsApp chats between Crime Intelligence boss Major-General Feroz Khan and tobacco executive Mohamed Sayed.

According to a notice served on Malema, the communications allegedly show that in June 2021, Malema, Khan and Sayed allegedly conspired to orchestrate the removal of the then Inspector-General of Intelligence, Dr Setlhomamaru Dintwe through parliament using the EFF.
