tinashe is a quintessential contemporary r&b artist, as is bey. every single project they do, no matter the main sound, has r&b influence that they’re not afraid to acknowledge. some of y’all just 40 and close minded and think that r&b is only 90s darkchild and timberland beats
i like the consistencies between stories of fans discovering kai. a lot of “i didn’t know kpop had this” “i couldn’t believe i hadn’t heard of him before” “i was surprised there was an artist like him anywhere” 🫶🏾 you can never say he’s not one of a kind
I actually think Tinashe has leaned on R&B and urban music since going independent. She’s a popstar but she’s not begging it. She doesn’t have to you’re going to get what you get with her. No need for posturing. That’s what makes her music great idgaf.
Im honestly tired of Tinesha jumping and bouncing around the place. I really just want her to do a slow sexy song. Like Promise or Never Ever by Ciara. Like girl get that ADHD under control and sit down for a second. Give me something I can vibe with. Even a Janet - Would You Mind.
good evening. the “heated rivalry fandom” was a six month sociological study conducted by harvard university. we are now complete with our study. thank you for your time
Everyone talking KPop + Tinashe better buy the single! K Pop is influenced by her, yes, and a lot of K-pop fans and groups acknowledge her impact. Remember in the 333 era when the KAI and EXO fanbases were promoting her on stationhead? So wholesome.
all shade twigs tries too hard to be esoteric and it has repeatedly resulted in her utilizing dark skin as a stand in for monstrosity/"darkness" all whilst spending years denouncing r&b like let's be real from an artistic standpoint, she's never seeing kelela in clarity of vision
