Australian T20 cricket selectors have chosen potential over performance and the future over the present and are now reaping a lack of reward. While Steve Smith has been left on ice Australia are skating on thin ice at the #T20WorldCup#AUSvsZIM@CricketAus
@theTiser AFL have said they are engaging 2025 Snoop Dog. Google the following: “Aug 11 2025 Snoop Dog setlist”. Then ask yourself what 2025 Snoop Dog is like. Family friendly?
@MeghanMcCain Once again you blame the media but give the GOP House Leaders a free pass. Did I miss them publicly proclaiming that one of their own was missing? What were her staff doing in this time?
@chrishlad And yet @elonmusk runs Tesla, Space X, X Corp, is tasked with improving government efficiency, and spends the majority of time hanging with Trump. But everyone is okay with him working remote because what Elon says, and what Elon does, are two different things. Hello hypocrisy.
🎙️Ange Postecoglou speaking on Mental Health:
"I’ve lived 58 years now, and there’s never been a time in my life where everything is perfect. I lost my father 3 years ago and he should have been here for the journey, so I’ve got to deal with that.
That’s just me talking personally, but everybody, everybody in this room at this moment, one part of your life could be flying and there will be something, it could be a family member, could be a health issue, could be a financial issue, there’s always something and footballers are not immune from that and sometimes I think they fall into the trap of thinking they are, and they’re not.
Just because you have money or you’re really good at something, life will still find a way to keep a balance - that there will be stuff in there that’s gonna be stressful, it’s gonna be upsetting and you’ve just got to deal with that.
I don’t think anyone (in the game) doesn’t understand that but we just choose to ignore it. At times we just think ‘well he’s a footballer, he’s got money, what’s he got to complain about’, but as a footballer they also have to understand that perfection doesn’t exist in life.
There are plenty of people who we would assume to have all the advantages in life who are fairly unhappy.
I think for the most part people understand are empathetic, sometimes we just choose to ignore it because it makes a more impactful scenario that ‘fantastic footballer has problems’, well they all do mate, they all do."
